"A Little Bit Stronger" by SydneyAlice 1

Posted by
(banner made by time_lights)

Bella Swan had a traumatic experience a few years ago, and now she is afraid of being around strangers - men specifically. So when she goes to her usual spot at the park bench one day, she doesn't expect for a green-eyed man sitting there and feeding breadcrumbs to the neighboring ducks - something that she did during her lunch breaks. Bella is more than hesitant to sit on that same bench with him, and even considers turning around and going back to her office for work, but when the stranger looks at her and says, "Look, my name is Edward. I am twenty-four years old. I'm a musician, and I promise I am the most polite man you'll ever meet because my mother would beat me otherwise.", she's sold. She decides to trust the man for once in her life. In fact, she is more than surprised that Edward seems to understand her really well, and is more than patient for her to feel comfortable. So it becomes a routine of sorts for both of them everyday - they come to bench near lunchtime and feed the ducks together... Will Edward be able to break all of her wall down completely? Will Bella let him in and see that he is nothing but a caring man who loves her?

A Little Bit Stronger has to be one of my favorite one-shots I have ever read! This beautiful piece of fiction will have you hooked from the very first sentence. When I finished the story the very same day in a couple of minutes, I was actually surprised to find myself completely in love with it. SydneyAlice manages to incorporate a fabulous plot as well as a mix of romance, hurt/comfort, and humor all into just about 5000 words! Edward is a kind young man who is recently new to the area, and he is able to comprehend the situation Bella is in. He is nothing but supportive in the matter, and his love for Bella is completely pure. His patience pays off when he is able to convince Bella that he would never hurt her, and Bella knows that Edward is the one for her. A sweet love story that will tug at your hearts! Don't forget to take an hour off for this story everyone, or you will regret missing out on it!

A Little Bit Stronger is a one-shot and consists of 5,533 words. The story is rated M for content, language, and a few sexual activities.

"Unplanned" by jennde 2

(banner made by Mina)

Edward Cullen thought he had his life planned out. At seventeen, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the medical field as a doctor, and planned on getting settled down after that. But he didn't expect his whole life to follow a different course of plan when he met with a small accident with a stunning brunette on her bike. Life had been a series of ups and downs when Edward's mother passed away just three weeks ago - part of the reason why he relocated to Forks to complete his final year in high school. Engrossed in his own deep thoughts, he didn't realize when he hit the poor girl's bike until they had both come to a halting stop. Their first words to each other aren't super, as no one's would be if they were to be in an accident, but it turned out that the lady - Bella - was starting her first day at the same high school as Edward. And the two seem to hit it off right away. Edward didn't think he would find the love of his life at the age of seventeen, but life doesn't always plan out the way we think. The couple continue a path in their lives neither of them planned, with their love growing each and every day. But just when they thought everything was perfect, life takes an unexpected turn yet again - this time, not a very good one. Will Edward survive?

This one-shot will beg you to read it over and over again! It's a sweet love story and our main characters hit it off - literally - right away, engrossing us readers. Let me warn you that the last third of the story is not very easy to read since there is character death involved. But please don't let this keep you from Unplanned because it is a story that you will regret missing out on! Edward and Bella are super adorable together, and their love for each other is something we all want in our lives. The best laid plans often go awry, and that saying is exactly what depicts this short story. jennde manages to create undying love, realism, and some angst all into a total of about 11,000 words and I promise you will be mind-blown. So if you are free today at work or sitting home enjoying the summer, go and read this great story - it won't take long to finish!

Unplanned is a one-shot and consists of 11,123 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual content.

"Phoenix" by KiyaRaven 0

"Every day he passes and I let him, knowing that everything's wrong; wanting so much to fix it but scared to try. Sometimes doing nothing is the worst form of cowardice, and right now, he needs me to be brave."

When everything he loved goes away in an instant, Bella has to build up the strength to go and comfort her best friend and neighbor, Edward Cullen. It was only a few nights ago when they were both playing the game Scrabble that they received the devastating news from the police that Edward's wife and daughter had been in a fatal car accident. Ever since then, it's been as though Edward has given up living his own life and the dark circles under his eyes combined with the fake smile plastered on his face every time Bella sees him is too unbearable to witness. Bella has always had more feelings towards Edward than she should have considering he was married when they first met. But her connection with his family, including his wife Tanya and four-year-old daughter Bri was instant. It was as if they all just fit perfectly into her life and soon enough, they were all best friends. But when the two people that mattered so much to Edward went away, she couldn't help but go and comfort him, even though he was still living under the pretense that they were alive. Over the course of the next few months, Edward decides to move into Bella's house because his held too many memories, and discovers that maybe... just maybe he is allowed to fall in love again, and that his world might just survive with this brown-haired woman by his side.

This story is about losing the ones you love, getting up to live your life, and falling in love again. I will admit, it is definitely an angst-y read, but trust me when I say that you should miss out on this story at all. KiyaRaven has managed to bring tears into my eyes - and we all know how picky of a reader I am - in this fabulous one-shot which more than deserves the award she received for this story for the Anonymous Angst Contest. The pain that Edward goes through is truly heart breaking, and completely realistic for the things he has gone through. But Bella is the ultimate source of light that brings him back him and allows him to see that life goes on no matter what, and love can always be found again. It's great when he finally sees what Bella has been trying to say all along, and the HEA at the end of the story will make you sigh in happiness for our favorite couple. Don't hesitate to read this story just because it starts out with Edward being married or that it is an angst-filled story, because trust me when I say that this one-shot will be well worth the read. So go grab a box of tissues, and sit down on a comfy chair to read and finish this fabulous fanfiction which will have you occupied for the day. A quick, yet mind-blowing read that will steal your heart away!

Phoenix is a one-shot and consists of 12,201 words. The story is rated M for language, angst, and sexual content.

"What Happens in Biology" by Shahula 0

Posted by
(banner made by Mina)

What happens in biology, stays in biology. At least, it does when school bad-boy, Edward Cullen, decides to feel you up in said class. Bella Swan has been warned by her father to stay away from the motorcycle-riding, leather-jacket-wearing rebel, but she soon discovers that the forbidden fruit really does taste sweeter. Bella finds herself inexplicably drawn towards her biology partner. She longs for his accidental touches and ‘knee weakening crooked grins’. Though she tells herself she needs to stop, if only so as not to embarrass herself, there’s no denying it. Bella Swan is addicted. Scandalous rumors surround the mysterious Edward Cullen, but Bella finds that she craves their secret interactions in biology more than anything. Will the good girl find a way to get the bad boy to spill his secrets?

In this classic tale of rebel and police officer’s daughter, Shahula weaves in humor and sweet fluff. If a whole lot of angst is what you’re looking for, this one-shot definitely isn’t the place to go. It’s short, sweet, and is great for a little something to read after work. There’s a wonderful feel-good nature around the whole story that ensures that you’ll come out of it smiling. It’s one of those stories that you keep coming back to because you just like the beautiful simplicity of a guy meeting a girl. I’ll admit that I’m a complete sucker for romantic meet cutes and this definitely satisfied my thirst. If you haven’t read this popular one-shot yet, you should definitely put it on your ‘to-read’ list. It’s a keeper.

What Happens in Biology is a one-shot and consists of 9,646 words. This story is rated M for under-the-desk sexy times.

"Channel Five" by planetblue 2

(banner made by Bethany)

Being a flight attendant is not everyone's piece of cake. Though it's not included in the job description, one needs to have a lot of patience, and Bella Swan is no stranger to the policies and protocols of flying. She isn't new to working as a flight attendant—she's had time to get used to serving Bloody Mary's from a can and old men pinching her a**. Grace and style, is her mantra. Now, she's been assigned to work under Rosalie Hale on Mr. Cullen's plane. As soon as they get on the plane for Bella's first trip, she's told to not have any unnecessary contact with their boss; only Rosalie will serve him and be attentive to her radio. That's fine by her. But when Bella has a bit of an accident with a food cart and her head piece, she's switched over from one channel to another and she finds herself speaking to a man who won't tell her who he is—just a man concerned for a crew member's safety. He continues to page her throughout the flight, and they partake in short but innuendo-filled conversations. To her disadvantage, she's unable to see him, but that doesn't lessen his hold on her. No, he has her doing things she wouldn't normally do and enjoys every minute of it. Will Bella be able to face her boss without embarrassing herself?

Channel Five was planetblue's entry for last year's Dirty Talkin' Edward Contest. I had added Ch5 to my TBR list not long after planetblue put it on fanfiction, and have read it numerous times. That being said, this is a very steamy one-shot written from Bella's point of view. Did I mention steamy—SO HOT! Ladies, I should advise you to put on your shanties! They'll come in handy ;-) Ch5 is a quick and witty read that will fly by that will have you wanting more. The intense pull between the two is indescribable and I've thoroughly enjoyed it time and time again. There is no doubt that you will keep this one-shot at the top of your reading charts, because trust me when I say this—it is more than worth the read, even multiple times! Be prepared for lots of dirty talk and a lemon galore.

Channel Five consists of 14,288 words and is rated M for foul language and HOT lemons, as can be expected from planetblue.

"Orange Kisses and Peppermint Hearts" by SparrowNotes24 0

(banner made by Bethany)

- I'd like a selection of chocolates that reflect all the things that made me fall madly and deeply in love with her. I have to admit that I'm no chocolate connoisseur, but she is, and she always tells me that your shop does the best.-

Bella Swan is the proud owner of Cocoa Swan, a small shop that sells self-made pralines and chocolates. One morning, a neatly written letter addressed to Bella arrives at the shop. A man asks her to help him in creating the most perfect gift for his wife for their anniversary: a box of chocolates that reflect all the things that made him fall deeply in love with her. No sender's address is given and the envelope has no stamp on it. Confused, yet touched by the romantic words she just read, Bella starts creating the most amazing pralines - always based on the letters that continue to arrive day after day. Cappuccino Swirls, Dark Orange Crisps, Chocolate Caramels, as well as a few other delectable chocolates find their way into the lavender-cream box of Cocoa Swan, waiting to be delivered. Once the time comes and Bella finally stands before the wonderful man whose love for his wife was almost oozing out of each letter he wrote, she drops the delicate box to the ground. Could it really be?

Wow, this must be one of the most romantic stories, I've ever read! Seriously! This Edward will melt your heart with his words and Bella's memories of him are nothing short of adorable and swoon-worthy! Originally written as a birthday present for the lovely MagTwi78, SparrowNotes24 has really outdone herself with this one-short; one that I'd really like to see expanded into a multi-chapter story! Though the exact time the story is set in is never mentioned, based on Bella and Rose's clothes, one can assume that the O/S takes place in the late 1960s/early 1970s. The fanfic is written from Bella's POV, a young woman who is a lovely and talented young chocolate connoisseur and who is missing her boyfriend like nothing else! Read this O/S right now, it will put the biggest smile on your face!

Orange Kisses and Peppermint Hearts is a One-Shot consisting of 10,303 words. The story is rated T.

"Nothing to Declare" by lellabeth 0

Going through security checkpoints can be hard, especially when you have piercings in places other than your ears. Bella Swan knows this more than anyone. When she's stopped and asked to go through the metal detector - again and again - the last thing she wants is a pat-down from the pimply, overeager airport worker that keeps eyeing her. After request that a female worker executes the pat-down, Bella's led to wait-in a room. Minutes pass, no one shows up, and Bella grows more and more frustrated. All she wants it to get on the plane and go see her mother. However, when the door finally opens and she hears a deep, male voice everything changes. Suddenly, Bella would love nothing more than to spend the next couple hours in the room with this incredibly attractive, strong-looking airport police officer with killer sex-hair. A couple of clarifications and sexual innuendos later, will these two strangers be able to resist the inexplicable draw they feel towards one another? For Edward, will the lines of professionalism be blurred when it comes to this snarky brunette? Will Bella be able to seduce the attractive airport worker?

If you're looking for something serious and intense, then Nothing to Declare is not for you. It's fun, lighthearted, and a good story to go to read some hot lemons. I think that's the way lellabeth intended it to be, as well. I love one-shots that feel resolved when I'm done reading them. I definitely got that feeling from Nothing to Declare. There's a billion places that this story can go, but this one-shot more than satisfies my curiosity. I think it takes true talent to make the reader feel like a one-shot is complete and there is nothing more left to tell, so kudos to lellabeth for doing just that! She's a great writer whose writing style can be characterized easy-to-read and entertaining. It's simple, not too sophisticated, yet beautiful and creative. Bella's inner monologue is always entertaining and this story includes one of the hottest, most extroverted Edwards I've read. Their chemistry is palpable from the moment they meet and lasts throughout the entire story. Light, quirky, and playful, Nothing to Declare is a breath of fresh air for those who need a break from the seriousness of life. Definitely a go-to read for the days you're feeling down!

Nothing to Declare is a one-shot and consists of 4,447 words. This story is rated MA for language and super hot lemons.

"Second to None" by AngryBadgerGirl 0

(banner made by Bethany)

Bespectacled, geeky Bella Swan is in a bit of a rut. A sophomore at Dartmouth with two great friends by her side, she has everything going for her... well, except for her love life. Of course, that is until she attends her first Biology class and is caught staring at sexy tattoo of the extremely attractive TA. Despite encouragement from her friends, Bella chooses to stay away from him because she is sure that he is clearly out of her league. However, she can't seem to stop thinking about the handsome man with eyes the color of green M&Ms. When she gets her first quiz back - with an aweful grade - Edward, the TA, offers to help her. The two meet week after week and as time goes on, Bella cannot help but eagerly for Tuesday to come around so she can meet Edward at four and spend some time with him. And despite her improving grades, they continue to meet but will that continue once their class is over? Bella surely hopes not, with overeager and perverted Mike Newton as the only other love interest waiting at her door. Yet the fact remains that Edward and her major in two completely different fields, so how will they be able to keep in contact?

AngryBadgerGirl is known for her flawless writing. Not only is she very popular for her wonderful style but her stories are also loved for their immense realism. I can assure you, she earns each and every praise she gets and Second to None is anothe proof of that. It's quite apparent that she has a very clear idea in her head of what her characters should look like and she seems to know exactly how to transfer these ideas to the paper. It's a talent that few people can ever master completely. AngryBadgerGirl does this with ease, however. Second to None is a tiny bit heavy in a few places, but it's nothing that isn't resolved in the next few paragraphs. Most of the heaviness comes from Bella's insecurities. Still, Second to None is one of my all-time favorite one-shots. I cannot praise this enough. It's a sweet, endearing tale about two lab nerds finding each other beneath layers of superficiality. If you haven't given it a try, you should definitely put it on your 'to-read' list.

Second to None is a one-shot and consists of 10,376 words. This story is rated MA for sweet lemons, language, and brief sexual assault (no rape).

"Superheroes and Second Chances" by kr2009 & anhanninen 0

(banner made by Jaime)

Edward moved across the country, leaving his High School sweetheart Bella and all the memories they'd made behind. He tried to start over and gave love a second chance, but things didn't turn out the way he wanted. Now, years later, he returns home with his three-year-old son Aiden to, once again, start fresh. After settling in his old home and spending an afternoon at the park with Aiden, they make a pit stop at a bakery. It is there that he finds what he left behind and what could still be his perfect future. A second chance and a couple of superheroes costumes will be the perfect ingredients to get back everything he once let go.

This one-shot was an entry from the The Happily Ever After Twific Contest and was picked by host MagTwi78's as her favorite story. The first thing we thought when we read this one-shot was, “Damn, we want a Super-Daddyward like that!” Edward is sweet, flawed, yet still plain perfect. He is a young father who moves from New York back to his childhood hometown of Forks, Washington to give himself and his son, Aiden, a fresh start and hopefully a second chance at happiness. What Edward never expected was to find his old sweetheart there and all those feelings he thought were long gone. Yet as soon as he sets eyes on Bella, everything he ever felt for her comes rushing back. Bella has grown up and is taking care of her grandmother’s old bakery, now a coffee shop, Edward is smitten all over again. Superheroes and Second Chances is a sweet Daddyward story, told from Edward’s point of view. We really encourage everyone to read this one-shot and leave a review. You won’t regret meeting this Daddyward! ;)

Superheroes and Second Chances is a one-shot and consists of 14,238 words. This story is rated M for adult language and situations.

"Faded Memories" by Catastrophia 0

(banner made by Bethany)

Bella has been in love with Edward for a very long time. Ever since they were freshmen students back in college, their plans for the future had always included each other. So after a couple of years in a steady and loving relationship, they finally said their vows and promised each other forever. But unfortunately, things go downhill after a few years. Over time, the wonderful love Bella once got to experience and the sweet promises she's been given have slowly been replaced by calls that are often ignored and broken or forgotten promises. Edward seems to be married to his job rather than to his wife - at least that's what Bella hopes is the case since the alternative would definitely break her heart beyond repair. She constantly ressures her daughter that Daddy still loves her and very much so, but when another dinner goes by without Edward being present, Bella finally has enough...

This is a heart breaking story told in Bella's point of view. Through flashbacks we get to see the happy times the couple experienced; a stark contrast to the present which is anything but as  wonderful as those memories. The story brought tears to both our eyes when Edward's neglect reaches its limit and Bella finally asks for a divorce. Honestly, at that point, we wanted her to divorce his ass too! But things aren't always so black and white, and Edward is only human after all. We all make mistakes, but those who learn from said mistakes and rise to the occasion are the ones worth fighting for, or in Bella's case, staying for. Yes, this story has a happily ever after, but you will have to go through a couple of heart breaking moments in order to see it. Trust us, you will enjoy this one-shot. After all, when have we steered you wrong?

Faded Memories is a one-shot and consists of 4,712 words. The story is rated M for graphic lemons, foul language, and some angst.

“A Love Not Meant For This World” by sheviking 0

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/7819524/1/A-Love-not-meant-for-this-World
(banner made by Mina)

It's the year 79 AD. Pompeii is drowning in chaos as the Vesuvius roars and covers the sky with soot and fire. Amidst the ruins of the once rich city, a young Roman noblewoman runs along the cobblestone streets. But Bellona, as she was named by her father and mother, isn't running to save herself from the doom that befalls Pompeii, but to save the one person she has chosen for herself. The one person who makes everything worth it. The one person who taught her how to love.

She searches for him at the place they met - that enthralling place where she first laid eyes on him under the bright sun. Where he had stood in all his glory, a victor among the fallen...Back then, Bellona had been a young girl on a mission. She'd wanted to give herself to someone of her choosing. It was right there, in the arena of the colosseum that she found him. A champion of the blood and sand. She could immediately tell that he was from the North, and even though she had been warned about the barbarians from that area, she did not care a bit. Bellona wanted him to be the one to teach her the pleasure of the flesh before she was given in marriage to someone she despised. Eideard, or Victorinus as he is called, was very happy to oblige the wishes of the young noblewoman, who seeked him out right inside the slaves' quarters after his last victory. And that is exactly where Bellona runs to amidst the chaos - where she hopes to find him - inside the barracks of the colosseum. The place where the gladiator Eideard had rested after fighting every day -  for his life and for his Domina, Bellona.

This is the first work by sheviking that we've read and we gotta say that if her other stories are as good as this one-shot, then consider us a fan. It won first place in the 2012 Age of Edward contest in the Literotica category. Though not exactly accurate, the story is incredible well written and paints a clear picture of the time of the once so proud and beautiful city of Pompeii. The author drew inspiration from an actual find inside the city ruins and that just there was reason enough for us to read it. This is a romantic tale of two people fighting an already lost battle, and even though things are precarious once the volcano erupts, the story does have a happy ending. It might not be what most of you are used to, but both Domina and Eideard are able to be together and enjoy their love for eternity. So, give it a shot, when have we steered you wrong? ;)

A Love Not Meant For This World is a one-shot with a total of 11,306 words. The story is rated M for adult language and graphic sexual situations.

"On a Cold Winter's Night" by SueBee0619 0

Posted by Anonymous
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9981957/1/On-a-Cold-Winter-s-Night

A new year has arrived and Bella Swan leaves the peacefulness of the holidays behind and returns right back to her daily routine: from Monday till Friday she goes to work, i.e. either driving there (whenever her car isn't snowed in, that is) or repeatedly slipping on the icy sidewalk on her way to the bus, bruising her butt. At least twice a day, she takes her small dog Sam for a walk and it doesn't long before he looks at her with his big puppy eyes and she has to remove the squishy snow from in between his paws. In the evening, she likes to bundle up in a thick blanket, grab a book, and sip some hot cocoa - of course, only if she happens to have all that at home... And then, out of the blue, someone always makes sure her car is completely free of snow, sends her little booties for Sam so his paws don't get wet, and hangs a bag with hot cocoa and a new book on her door knob. Could it be the new neighbor living right across from her?

This is probably one of the cutest one-shots I have ever read! Inspired by in pinterest photo, SueBee0619 created this wonderful and romantic little world, in which Edward is just the sweetest guy walking this earth, and Bella is incredibly funny and lovable! Despite the fact that On a Cold Winter's Night does not include any kind of lemons, the story - which is completely written from Bella's point of view - will still manage to make your heart flutter nonetheless. The cute gifts Bella receives are incredibly thoughtful and make you wish that more men like Edward walk this planet! And whenever these two meet, one can't help but sigh from all the sweetness. Definitely a must-read; you won't be disappointed!

On a Cold Winter's Night is a one-shot consisting of 3,987 words. The story is rated T for some foul language.

"Chasing Bella" by mystique-jewled 0

Posted by
(banner made by Bethany)

Edward Cullen, a street-fighter with a troubled past, is approached by the boss of one of the most powerful mobs in the U.S., Aro Volturi. Aro needs an heir to his dynasty and Edward needs a way out of his miserable life. After proving himself to the notorious mob boss, Edward is welcomed into the world of the mafia: "We will be great together, Edward."
Two years later, at a high-class bar in Chicago, now-playboy Edward bumps into a beautiful, brunette waitress who rocks his world. Bella Swan really isn't like the other girls he's met. She lives paycheck-to-paycheck and her innocence makes her the perfect victim for bullies, first and foremost her boss, Katie. So, when the rich and handsome Edward Cullen pays attention to her, Bella's not quite sure what to make of it; especially when she walks in on him holding a gun to his friend's head. Possessive Edward isn't willing to let her go, though, and he when he manages to find her later that night, he insists on walking her home. With a little bit of persuasion and a broken bottle of pepper spray, Bella finds herself engulfed in his company.

Edward knows the consequences of getting involved with someone just mere days before taking over the mob that took Aro decades to build. But the more time he spends with Bella, the less he seems to be able to care about all of it. He isn't exactly sure what it is about this brown-eyed beauty that has him so entranced, but he isn't willing to let her go until he figures it out. His attraction to her is undeniable and he finds her innocence surprisingly endearing. He finds himself wanting to protect her and all of his thoughts and actions revolve around her. Can an up-and-coming mob boss ever let go of his playboy ways and be with a woman, who moves him like no other? Or will outside forces push them apart?

Even though Chasing Bella is just a one-shot, it has so much character and intrigue that it's worth a full story. Edward, though he's not the nicest guy around, still softens the reader's heart with how protective he is of Bella. He hasn't had an easy life and his decisions reflect the consequences of that. He's been trained to be smart, cruel, and calculating, but with Bella, all of that is thrown to the wind. Bella herself has had her fair share of unlucky circumstances. Her optimism and innocence in the midst of all that is really endearing. These characters together just have a really interesting dynamic that leaves you wanting more. Above all of that, it's realistic. The way Bella and Edward interact is completely believable and romantic. There is no immediate trust and that's what makes this fanfic so intriguing. As a big fan of mystique-jewled's, I have to say that this one-shot left me begging her to continue it in to a full story. If you haven't read it yet, it's definitely worth a shot!

Chasing Bella is a one-shot and consists of 13,906 words. This story is rated MA for violent content, explicit language, and graphic lemons.

"I Hope You Dance" by Lissa Bryan 1

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8859871/

I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith the fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance

Manual writer Bella Swan is coaxed by her sister to take tango lessons at a local dance studio. Full of concern, Alice watches how Bella hardly ever leaves the house and has as good as no friends. She hopes that by convincing her to learn how to dance, her sister will eventually be forced to socialize with others and live a little. Not able to deny Alice, Bella agrees and goes to the studio. There she runs into dance teacher Edward Cullen, who is not just ridiculously handsome and talented but also tells her that she would be given individual classes with him. Carefully he manages to get a nervous Bella to relax and starts showing her some easy yet still intimitate dancing steps. Edward notices right away that Bella, as beautiful as she is, likes to withdraw from the world and is more than insecure about herself. He immediately decides to not only teach her how to master the art of dancing tango but also how to enjoy and live her life. Because he himself had to learn the hard way how short and volatile life can be. When his boss and friend Jacob Black (Edward used to be the chief financial officer in marketing company) is killed in a car accident, Edward is responsible for making all the necessary arrangments regarding his death. As he is listed as the only emergency contact, things like organ donation and funeral arrangements have now to be decided by the young man. It is then that he realizes how much he doesn't enjoy his job and lifestyle and that life is too short to not do what you really want. So he contacts his old friend Tanya and begins working as a dance teacher. He definitely had no idea that fate would soon introduce him to true love - in form of a brown-eyed beauty...

I Hope You Dance is a sweet yet tame little one-shot that portrays Edward and Bella very realistically. Both of them have had their fare share of difficulties in their lives but learned to deal with them in a very different way. While Edward took the death of his friend as an incentive to really start living, Bella hides from the world, afraid of never being enough. When they finally meet in the dance studio, sparks fly, and Edward can't help but slowly show Bella that there are things worth living out there, including love. He acts very sweet toward her and though he tries to be careful not to overstep his boundaries, Bella more than once runs away from him out of panic. But gradually, she realizes that she can trust her handsome tango teacher and loses herself in his arms, literally. The story is completely written from a third-person narrator, who focuses on Bella's feelings but also has some insight into Edward's mind. There are no grammatical mistakes and the plot is more than entertaining. A wonderful little one-shot that will leave you yearning for more Dancerward!

I Hope You Dance is a one-shot and consists of 18,296. The story is rated T some foul language.

"Without Reserve" by DH78 0

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8268545/1/Without-Reserve

Bella is an art student, whose favorite place, amongst others, is the library. For her studies, she often orders some books and picks them up at the reservation desk. There, geeky Edward Cullen is waiting for her. His messy bronze hair, paired with his thick black glasses, the black hoodie, low-hung jeans, and sneakers he wears, have totally mesmerized her and Bella can't help but feel excited each and every time she needs to pick up a reservation. However, the young student is absolutely sure that her feelings for Edward are nothing but friendly until her best friend Alice eventually rubs her nose into the fact that Bella has a huge crush. Slowly, and careful not to overwhelm the cute library nerd, she starts engaging Edward in longer conversations and tries to find out about who he really is. And when another girl is hitting on what's supposed to be hers, she sees red and decides to win Edward's heart. The best chance for just that turns out to be one night, when Bella accompanies Alice to a bar and sees something she never ever expected to see!

Think of Art from Bad Mother's Handbook and mix it with the coolness Rob Pattinson - then you have the geeky, yet sexy Edward Cullen of this fanfic. He's left alone by the majority of his class mates but Bella realizes his smarts and awesomeness right away. She is definitely the leading figure in this relationship but once Edward manages to step out of his shell, it becomes clear that he won't let her go anymore. Without Reserve is written from Bella's point of view and is one of the winners of the 2012 FicThisGif contest, hosted by JadaLulu. The fanfic was voted as the story with the 'Highest Swoon Factor' and picked by one of the judges as their favorite. As you can see, Without Reserve received some praise - why don't you read it to see if it's deserved?

Without Reserve is a one-shot consisting of 7,174 words. The story is rated T for foul language.

"Stage Play" by Bellaward1105 0

Posted by Anonymous

Edward Cullen knows what he wants: her. For what seems like forever the teenager has adored his class mate Bella Swan from afar. From the moment the young girl from Phoenix, AZ stepped into his life, he knew that she was it for him. Her porcelain skin and long brown hair lured him in just as much as her intelligence and wit. She was everything he could ever hope for in a woman... and she had no idea. Because fear prevented him from asking the girl of his dreams out, Edward had no chance but watch her secretly and enjoy the moments they spent together as lab partners. Who knew that a 400-year-old dead guy would change that miserable situation of his?

Mrs. Carter, Edward and Bella's English teacher comes up with a brilliant idea. Her students are supposed to form groups before discussing how to adapt William Shakespeare's renowned play "Romeo & Juliet". And as those who decide to write an actual stage play are guaranteed a nice A, it comes as no surprise that Edward's group plans exactly that. So together with Alice and Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper, Angela and Ben, the twins George and Fred (*cough* Harry Potter *cough*), and Bella he dives head into collecting ideas. The result is a modern version of "Romeo & Juliet" or rather "Edward & Bella" as these two will be the lead actors. For weeks the group works hard to perfect their very own play and it is during that time that Edward realizes two things: one, he is madly in love with Bella Swan; two: he would use the performance of their play to actually show her how much...

So sweet! That's exactly what describes this wonderful story by Bellaward1105 best. Even though the fanfic doesn't contain any sexualized content (even the kiss between the two is chaste), Stage Play will leave you with a great smile on your face. You might even feel the need to let out a loud sigh, it's that romantic! Edward is every girl's dream boyfriend as his love for Bella is really all-consuming. The supporting characters fit well into the story, with Alice and Emmett definitely standing out the most! If you're in need for some innocent and fluffy High School romance, Stage Play is a must-read for you!

Stage Play is a one-shot and consists of 13,378 words. The story is rated T and thus suitable for readers age 13 and older.

"Stitches in Time" by ericastwilight 0

When Doctor Bella Swan reads the chart of her next patient, her heart starts beating. Sitting only a couple of feet away from her, in an examination room in the ER, is none other than Edward Cullen. Dr. Edward Cullen. The same Dr. Edward Cullen, who apparently disliked her so much that he refused to take her as one of the new residents at the White General's Hospital in San Francisco three years ago. Trying to get rid of her nervousness, Bella walkes into the exam room and comes face to face with the one man she was unable to get off of her mind for years...

And he isn't alone. The handsome pediatrician, who has had a little accident at home and now sports a small cut on his arm, is accompanied by an adorable little girl, whose name, she finds out quickly, is Abby. Bella tries to treat her patient the best way she can but is getting more and more angry at Dr. Cullen's obvious hatred towards her. According to him she isn't doing her job right and is also behaving unprofessional when she flirts with her husband in front of the patients. Husband? And then, suddenly, when Bella explains that Edward is mistaken and she is far from being married, the man's countenance changes and he miraculously starts being more than nice to her. Because rather than hating Bella with a passion, Edward needs her like air to breathe...

ericastwilight managed to write a realistic and very entertaining one-shot. For example, Edward's decision to refuse Bella's application to become a resident did not happen out of sheer annoyance and hatred. Instead, he had good reasons for his actions, reasons which the reader only finds out about a little bit later into the story. Stitches in Times is written both from Bella's and Edward's POV, while ericastwilight wrote Edward's and the talented lisa89 wrote Bella's. It's a great story to read in between long multi-chapter ones, especially because the O/S includes a short future take, so the reader knows what happens to his characters after the main plot is over!

Stitches in Time is a one shot consisting of 14,349 words. The story is rated M for language and lemons.

"Fill My Little World" by Welcome2MyWorldxoxo 0

Edward Masen finds himself sitting in a club after having played bass in the band of an old friend of his. It is then that he sees the woman who would turn his life upside down. Bella Swan is swinging her hips on the dancefloor like she doesn't give a damn what others might think about her. The moment her brown eyes meet his green ones, they both know they have just met their soulmates. The two of them have a drink and spend a passionate night together...

It doesn't even matter that Edward is seven years older than Bella or that Bella is having more and more success with her band "Only by the Night". They are both inseparable and it hardly takes a year until Edward goes down on one knee. Now, four years later, his wife is still sleeping peacefully and about to be late for band practice. So what does a supportive husband do? Right, he wakes up the woman he loves in a sweet and sexy kinda way. Too bad that that doesn't lead to Bella getting up but only makes her be even tardier than before...

This story is pure smut, nothing else. 90% of the O/S are dedicated to Bella and Edward showing their neverending love for each other - in a very kinky way, I might add. This is not sex we're talking about, it's animalistic fu**ing. And in between these very arousing words (yes, it's that hot!) you get an inside into Edward's head and how he reflects on his past (and future). If you love your lemons dirty and rough, this will be very much to your liking!

Fill My Little World is a one-shot consisting of 4,132 words. The story is rated MA for very graphic descriptions of sexual activities.

"Emergency" by EJ Santry 0

If Bella Swan needed to be described in one word, it would be clumsy. The young student has had so many accidents in her life that she has seen the emergency rooms of various hospitals more often than other people change their underwear. One day, after having slipped on the sidewalk while taking the trash out to the dumpster, Bella drags herself to the ER, fearing that she might have broken her tailbone. So there she is: trying to somehow sit in the examination room and waiting for a doctor to arrive.

She didn't expect to meet what was probably the most handsome man in the world: a god-like creature with bronze hair, the greenest eyes she had ever seen and a wonderful and sexy crooked grin on his face. After drooling over her white knight in shining armour Bella suddenly realizes that this epitome of manliness will need to have to have to take a look at her behind. Her very bare behind, because Dr. Adonis asks her only seconds later to get out of her clothes and change into a hospital gown. And as if something in her clicks or some inner voice gives her a pep talk, Bella begins removing her clothes one by one, almost in a stripper-like fashion. Affected by her obvious seduction, the doctor, whose name is actually Dr. Cullen as she later finds out, hastily drags her to an empty room where he finally can have his way with her.

Our clumsy little Bella is really cute and funny in this wonderfully written one-shot by EJ Santry. Though it is pretty obvious from the beginning that things between Edward and Bella will get very hot very soon, the plot is neither boring nor too predictable. Furthermore, I personally think it was a good decision of the author to not end the story after Bella and Edward's sexual encounter but giving a small glimpse into their future. This way the reader gets to know whether they will see each other again and if they will be able and willing to start a relationship. Emergency is a very well-written story that will be especially benefitting to those of you who don't have much time to read a multi-chapter story yet still want to read about Bella and Edward hitting it off!

Emergency is a one-shot and consists of 6,936 words. The story is rated M for lemons.

"Love Song" by elusivetwilight 0

While some teenagers cut their fingers and mix their blood with that of their closest friends, Edward and Bella do so to swear each other eternal love. Yet when Edward decides to leave his hometown Forks and Bella behind to start making a career as a professional musician, all promises are forgotten. What is left is a devastated Bella, who retreats into her own shell and hopes that one day, her lover will return. But unfortunately, he doesn't...

Seven years later, Bella Swan is a successful fiction writer. She publishes her novels under an alias and avoids as much human contact as possible. That changes when she hears her Edward's voice on the radio. Now a celebrated singer and songwriter, Edward presents his latest studio album to the world. He also explains that the first single, Bella, was influenced by a very special person. And before Bella knows what she's doing she asks her publicist to arrange an TV interview in New York-her only chance to let Edward know where she was and that she was still waiting...

What a wonderful one-shot! Yes, Edward screws up big time in the beginning - leaving Bella behind, broken and only a shell of her true self. And even though it takes him years to realize his mistake, once he finally does, Bella his all that matters to him. He wants her. Period. Their first confrontation and subsequent talk in his hotel room are as heartbreakingly beautiful as their first night together and the very ending of the story (probably my favorite part). Love Song is about a man, who listened to his head instead of his heart and a woman who lost herself in love and became its slave. It's wonderfully written and incredibly sentimental and has a HEA! What more do you want?

Love Song is a one-shot consisting of 9,725 words. The story is rated M for lemons and foul language.
