Going through security checkpoints can be hard, especially when you have piercings in places other than your ears. Bella Swan knows this more than anyone. When she's stopped and asked to go through the metal detector - again and again - the last thing she wants is a pat-down from the pimply, overeager airport worker that keeps eyeing her. After request that a female worker executes the pat-down, Bella's led to wait-in a room. Minutes pass, no one shows up, and Bella grows more and more frustrated. All she wants it to get on the plane and go see her mother. However, when the door finally opens and she hears a deep, male voice everything changes. Suddenly, Bella would love nothing more than to spend the next couple hours in the room with this incredibly attractive, strong-looking airport police officer with killer sex-hair. A couple of clarifications and sexual innuendos later, will these two strangers be able to resist the inexplicable draw they feel towards one another? For Edward, will the lines of professionalism be blurred when it comes to this snarky brunette? Will Bella be able to seduce the attractive airport worker?

If you're looking for something serious and intense, then Nothing to Declare is not for you. It's fun, lighthearted, and a good story to go to read some hot lemons. I think that's the way lellabeth intended it to be, as well. I love one-shots that feel resolved when I'm done reading them. I definitely got that feeling from Nothing to Declare. There's a billion places that this story can go, but this one-shot more than satisfies my curiosity. I think it takes true talent to make the reader feel like a one-shot is complete and there is nothing more left to tell, so kudos to lellabeth for doing just that! She's a great writer whose writing style can be characterized easy-to-read and entertaining. It's simple, not too sophisticated, yet beautiful and creative. Bella's inner monologue is always entertaining and this story includes one of the hottest, most extroverted Edwards I've read. Their chemistry is palpable from the moment they meet and lasts throughout the entire story. Light, quirky, and playful, Nothing to Declare is a breath of fresh air for those who need a break from the seriousness of life. Definitely a go-to read for the days you're feeling down!

Nothing to Declare is a one-shot and consists of 4,447 words. This story is rated MA for language and super hot lemons.

"Dear Bella" by lellabeth 0

"Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years." ~ Simone Signoret

December 22nd is the only day of the year that Edward allows himself to think of his one and only love - Bella. Every year, on that very day, he writes his ex-wife a letter, reveling in the wonderful memories they created from the moment they saw each other for the first time up to the day when they got married. Once he's done writing, he seals the envelope and sends it to Bella, hoping that she responds. Though he knows that he hurt her beyond words with his actions, Edward also thinks that it isn't anything they cannot resolve if they just get together and talk about it. The two of them are at a point in their relationship where everything and anything can happen. Things could go back to where they were -  a wonderful and fulfilling love - or they could continue to deteriorate until, eventually, there will be nothing left to repair. But will Bella realize that she still loves Edward as much as she used to? Or will it take more than a simple letter to convince her to give him a second chance?

This story is only thirteen chapters long but despite its brevity, it is very emotional and pinches your heart. Before I move on, let me assure you that the story does NOT contain any type of cheating whatsoever and despite the fact that they are both divorced in the beginning of the fanfic, it does not take too long for the two to find their way back together. Just have faith because this fanfiction definitely has a HEA! As Dear Bella is told through both Edward and Bella's perspectives, you are able to get a full view on their relationship and don't miss out on anything. Although the idea of a divorce may prevent people away from giving this fic a chance, trust me when I say that it is totally worth the read; if nothing else than because you will most likely be able to read the story in one sitting! When the two lovers finally do get together though, I have no doubt that you will shed a few tears - it is just that sweet! This realistic fanfiction manages to not only steal your heart but also teach you a thing or two about marriage in just 15k words! Very commendable!!!

Dear Bella consists of 13 chapters and 15,675 words. The story is rated M for angst and sexual references.
