Bella Swan is intelligent, sexy and a total player. She likes to pretend to be whoever vulnerable and naive men want her to be, uses them once she's put her hook in them, and then tosses them away when she's done. But why? Because one time, back in high school, when she was shy, innocent, and hid behind her long bangs and scribbled jeans, her biggest crush Edward Cullen rejected her at a party. Imagine her surprise when now, years later, Bella spots the same Edward Cullen at the club she co-owns with her best friends Rosalie and Alice. Thinking that this might be her chance to get back to Edward for what he did to her, she makes her moves. Plan "Ruin Edward Cullen" begins. Bella knows that the handsome man is far from being a saint himself. In fact, he is an even worse player than her. Edward has been making women fall for him ever since high school, and once he had them in his bed, he sends them away. One week and not a day longer does he allow the same woman in his life. Bella is very aware of his moves, but once the game starts, she can stop from playing. But what neither of them realizes is that the only things played will be their feelings...

This is a great story! Bella isn’t perfect in it and neither is Edward, yet the idea of the two of them together is actually quite perfect. This story will take you through twists and turns, a few hilarious moments, a couple frustrating ones - courtesy of the annoying as hell Seth (seriously, that kid made us want to wring his neck more that once). Not to mention the schemes both Edward and Bella plan to not only play with the other’s feelings but also to best them at their respective businesses - for they are both owners of enemy nightclubs. They come up with all sorts of plans to steal each other's customers; some turn out more sucessful than others.

When we started reading this story, we knew the reveal of all the secrets would be heart breaking, but we never expected what we was presented to us in the end. Oh, it was heart breaking (!), but the anger we felt at the sheer stupity of both Bella and Edward really did surprise us. Seriously, these two were too freaking stubborn for their own good! But like every romance story by xrxdanixrx, we get a happily ever after that’s not only amazing, but absolutely perfect. Everyone at school knows the infamous, rebellious, and sexy Bella Swan. She always wears black, rides a decrepit truck and her constant blue eye shadow is copied by every girl in Forks High School. But who is she really, apart from the rumors? Straight-laced Edward can’t help but admire the rebel girl from afar, but his focus is on his studies. He needs to keep up his grades to become a doctor just like he told his father he would. The pressure is on and there is no time to slack. But when his girlfriend leaves on a trip to Italy, things start to change. The once sure and confident Edward starts having doubts and his fascination of Bella reaches new levels when he starts attending a cooking class while waiting for a slot in Philosophy to open. Imagine his surprise when the always absent Bella actually attends that class, too. Soon, Edward finds himself immersed in the world of Bella Swan: booze, cigarettes, ditching, and even dropping some f-bombs. Edward stumbles down a dark path trying to understand her. But in the end, will it be worth it? Yes, Bella Swan’s plan to corrupt the young preppy Cullen has paid off, but the last thing she ever expected was to fall in love with him.

Simply put, this story was amazing! Edward starts as this focused preppy student who has barely even made out with his girlfriend and gradually turns into this bad boy that fucks Bella seven ways to Sunday. The change is gradual and really well written. We didn’t even notice how much he had changed until in one chapter Edward fights with Carlisle (who is a total prick of a father in this fic) and drops an f-bomb right there in his face. I don’t know who was more shocked - him or us - when Carlisle asked him “When did you change?” We were surprised by that, because like we said, the change was so gradual that it was… well, seamless. It’s not a night and day change, and honestly it was about damn time. Edward was pretty much bullied to follow his father’s footsteps. He has always felt neglected by Carlisle, who showed more affection for Jasper, his nephew, than for his own son. Edward never shows he is jealous of Jasper, but there is resentment there, and when the changes start happening, he starts pushing his cousin away. But there is more to this story, and that is the mystery of Bella Swan. Nobody really knows what's the deal between her and the Quilleute boys. Is she really Jacob Black’s girlfriend? Has she really fucked every single male student, and even some female? Is she a drug dealer? Did she really try to kill a student? So many rumors flow around Bella’s character that you really don’t know who to believe. Edward discovers little by little the truth behind those rumors, and in the process he falls in love with the girl that seems to have a vault sealed shut around her heart. Bella’s life is a mystery, one the reader will discover piece by piece alongside Edward. There will be some ups, and some very lows, but in the end the truth and love will prove victorious. Bella's mending a broken heart that her Mr. Perfect has inflicted on her out of the blue. How can a year of perfect love be called to a screeching halt with no explanation? And not only that, but said ex is also her boss and sending her seriously mixed signals. Forcing Bella to cling to what little hope may or may not be left and in the process lose her self respect. Not even her good friend and co-worker Rosalie can knock any sense into her.

Enter Mr. Imperfect, Edward Masen, in the form a new client and old college roommate of Mr. Perfect. He's rude, unkept, and the exact opposite of Jasper Whitlock. How they could have ever been friends is a mystery to Bella. But she'll soon learn looks can be deceiving and to stop putting her trust in the wrong people and start allowing the right ones in.

Oh, how can I count the ways I love this fic? Angst. Lemons. Self Discovery... This is yet another one of my repeat reads. Edward is rough around the edges but you can't help but fall for him and his sexy self. Bella can at times be a little frustrating, but she does what nearly any woman would do when she's sure she's found her Mr. Perfect. It doesn't hurt that both guys are super hot and Rosalie is super awesome. I love when Bella and Rose are friends in fics and this is one of my favs. The writing is awesome and each character is perfectly crafted to play their role in Bella's life. I really enjoyed this fic and the fact that it has super hot lemons is just icing on the cake. ;)

My Perfect Mr. Imperfect consists of 26 chapters and 165,467 words. This fic is rated MA for language and steamy as hell lemons.
