Bella Swan grew up as a close friend to twin brothers, Anthony and Edward Masen. The three were as close as ever from the very beginning. Even when Bella and Edward began dating in high school, the trio remained inseparable. That was until the Masens' younger brother died in a robbery gone wrong. Power Play is a touching story about forgiving and being able to build something out of nothing. Though there are moments when you want to cry your eyes out, it's heartwarming to see as Bella and Edward's relationship is rebuilt and their feelings for each other grow and grow. As there were so many mistakes in their past, the story is a slow burn. The characters are complex, and it takes time for their trust to rebuild - not just between Bella and Edward, but between the brothers as well.  Power Play is written from third person point of view, so it's enlightening to have a peek of what every character has been through and what they're thinking. It does take a while to get to the lemons, they are H-O-T! As they are with any CaraNo story. Don't miss out on reading this amazing story!

Their relationship starts off as purely sexual and slowly develops into something deeper. They start sharing each other's secrets - secrets that neither of them wants out in the open. Yet one day, after being put under pressure by his abusive father, Edward shares Bella's darkest moments with him, ruining his relationship with the brown-eyed woman in the progress. Hurt and ashamed, Bella decides to leave Forks immediately - taking something of Edward's with her...

Leaving the man she loves behind is one of the hardest things Bella has ever done, especially since she is pregnant. But as she sees no other way, she moves away from Washington state, accompanied by her friend's uncle, Jasper. For four years, Bella doesn't hear a word from Edward and, apart from one letter she sent just after their son's birth, she herself never tries to get in contact with him. However, one day, she receives an email from her former love and the two start rekindling their relationship. Edward moves to Sterling, Alaska - Bella's new home - and begins to learn what it means to be a father.

Close Your Eyes is not the first CaraNo fanfiction I've read yet this drama, angst, and romance-filled story is not only absolutely heartbreaking but one of the best fanfics she's ever come up with. Close Your Eyes has little to no grammatical errors and is beautifully written. It's a slow burn and definitely an emotional roller coaster; in fact, I'll advise you not to read the story without having a box of tissues by your side. It is so easy to get lost in the fanfic as you go through the same pain and happiness Edward and Bella feel. I couldn't put it down. It's such a captivating story that is written from both characters' points of view and that draws you in to the point where it's hard to put it down until the end. You should definitely check it out!

Close Your Eyes consists of 29 chapters and 137,122 words. It is rated MA for physical and emotional abuse, drug use, sexual content, and language.

When thirty-eight-year old Edward Cullen is asked by his business partner Charlie Swan whether he is still looking for a new assistant, he has no idea how much his life would change in the following few weeks. Happy to finally have some help again, Edward happily accepts Charlie's suggestion to employ his daughter Bella. She has just graduated from college (at the age of twenty-one, mind you) and as she wants to one day open her own graphic design company, she sees this as a great opportunity to get a whiff of what it means and takes to run your own business. Unfortunately, neither Bella nor Edward thought about what working together would actually entail. Because when Bella walks into her new boss' office, both of them have difficulties breathing. The last time they saw each other, Bella was sweet seventeen and still a girl. Now, however, she is a gorgeous and enticing woman, who smells too good for words. Needless to say, Edward has the same effect on Bella and the two know they are in deep trouble...

But if them working together and an age difference of seventeen years isn't enough to make their situation utterly complicated, the fact that Bella also has a rather unusual and slightly naughty little side-job definitely is. She loves dancing and works at Girlesque, a night club in New York. And though she doesn't strip, she is putting on some seriously hot, burlesque-like show for her visitors. One day, the latter happens to be Edward, who begrudgingly stops by the club after his cousin Emmett begged him to do so. Because ever Edward's divorce from Kate has been finalized, he buries himself in work, shying away from any kind of fun or pleasure. That chances, however, when Edward sees Bella and her sexy performance. Both of them cannot deny their desires for the other any more and have amazing sex in his office. Unfortunately, Edward is tormented by the age difference and the fact that his good friend Charlie might not be happy about what he does with his daughter, and so he distances himself from Bella. Thankfully for Bella, they have to go on long business trips together during which she decides to confront her boss and confess her feelings to him. Will Edward be able to get over Kate and everything she's done to him and finally give in to what he really wants? And what will happen once Charlie finds our about their relationship?

Compared to many of her other fics that the hugely talented CaraNo has written for the Twilight fandom, this little story is rather outside the norm, yet still absolutely amazing. First and foremost, All Nighters includes as good as no angst. Though the story does have its dramatic moments, the general tone is fluffly and sweet - no darkness whatsoever. Bella knows exactly what she wants - Edward - and she is willing to do everything in her power to get him. She is incredibly smart and confident with herself while Edward is like a glorious lion trapped in a cage. He really wants out and devour her and the future they could have, but he doesn't know how. Moreover, you only have the canon couples in this story, no funny combinations: Edward is with Bella, Charlie with Renee, and Emmett kind of hooks up with Rose. In addition, you will find some immensely funny passages in All Nighters, especially once Charlie finds out about his daughter's new boyfriend. It's hilarious and so well-written! This wonderful story by CaraNo is presented from both characters' POV and a really quick read. The plot is so interesting that you probably won't need more than two sittings to be through. Edward Cullen's life has hit a dead end. His marriage has fizzled out, he can't even stand to be in the same room as his wife Lauren anymore and his job was as boring as it was unfulfilling. Bella Cullen's life is stuck without a light at the end of the tunnel. Her husband, Carlisle is more married to his job than his own wife. Bella's constant battle with her weight is an issue that always sets the tone in her home life. Carlisle is all about image and Bella fails to make the mark. Both Edward and Bella are tired of waking up to the same depressing cycles everyday. They're both dying for a spark--any spark at all--to help make life worth living again. 

One night while sitting around the table with his guys, Edward is shocked to see Bella enter the room alongside one of his buddies. Unable to hold in his resentment towards his estranged cousin Carlisle, Edward calls Bella a trophy wife and causes her abrupt exit. Following her to apologize he learns the truth about Bella's under appreciated treatment. With the arrival of a new Grove Online app that is supposed to bring all Grove employees together, Edward uses it to connect with Bella. Because the way Edward sees it, if Carlisle isn't going to take advantage of a good thing--Edward sure as hell will, and Bella? She's only too happy to oblige. A steamy affair starts up between the two and the spark they both wished for soon explodes into a full blown inferno. 

When I first started this fic I was skeptic because I usually don't like to read fics with cheating but hot damn! The lemons are so good they wipe out any and all scruples I had to begin with. Seriously, bring a change of chonies when reading this one, it's that hot. This is a simple fic with a simple plot, but with great writing and steamy lemons, it is definitely a top ten read. Edward is crass and Bella is desperate, but it works because you can literally feel the shift between dead and alive when these two finally connect. 

Break in the Clouds by AnotherPen consists of 32 chapters and 37,805 words. This fic is rated MA for graphic lemons and very adult content.

In a grocery store Edward happens to meet Bella Swan,a nineteen-year old Juilliard student, who is not only a close friend of his sister Rose but also knows how to sign. He asks the beautiful woman to take care of Emma and become her nanny and Bella accepts right away. Feeling drawn to the handsome father and musician, she just can't wait to spend more time with him and his family. The only thing is, Edward is 28 - almost ten years older than her...

It's A Sign is a wonderful story written by the very talented CaraNo. The fanfic is immensely funny, sweet, and contains brilliant dialogue. Little Emma is the sweetest thing on earth and her interactions with Bella and Edward are a joy to read. Because the story is rather short, you'll be able to finish it in two sittings!
