"Sear" by Rochelle Allison 1

The cabin was supposed to serve as a sanctuary for Bella. After having her heart broken quite ruthlessly, she needed a place where she could be herself and regain some form of stability, which seemed perfect in her uncle's log cabin in the middle of the woods. But when Bella hears a knock on the cabin's door, her first reaction is to stay put in fright. She was alone in the cabin and there was no way Uncle Phil was already back; so who was this visitor knocking so late at night and in the middle of a snowstorm? She is prepared to hit the intruder with Phil's baseball bat when the man standing outside collapses on the floor as soon as she is able to open the door. She manages to somehow drag the poor guy in, realizing that bad guy or not, he was in the verge of hypothermia. After getting some help from her best friend Rose, who is a nurse, on the phone, Bella is able to remove the wet shoes, socks, and shirt from the man and places him in front of the fire, waiting for him to wake up and open his eyes...

If she was shocked when she first opened the door to this man, now she was bewildered as she stared into his emerald green eyes. This man, though not completely shaven, was a sight to be looked at! His chiseled jaw and intensity within his eyes almost made her forget that the reason he was shirtless was because he almost died in the blizzard. She manages to snap out of it and learns that his name is Edward, whom she expects to stay in her cabin for the next couple of days considering the weather. Edward seems to be an enigma to her, because he seems to be repeating to Bella that he didn't deserve her care; that he was bad and she should stay away. But neither of them could resist the other's pull and soon the two begin a relationship of sorts in that cabin. Bella finds herself falling for this mysterious man who refuses to tell her more about his past. So when she hears about the warning signs from her phone calls to Rose and her father Charlie and happens to turn on the television, she sees the same face that has been the star of her dreams...except this time it was framed in a square with bold letters of "WANTED" labeled above it. Will she defend the man she loves, or tell him to surrender? Can they even be together?

This story had me pulling my hair out from the very start! Rochelle creates a beautiful plot for Sear and I couldn't put this story down until it was finished. Edward is, as you read, a very unexpected character as the story unfolds, but the fact that he is a criminal does not make us, the readers, or Bella falter in terms of love. You also learn that Edward had his reasons for his actions, and that he had not expected to find love in the middle of nowhere either. And let's admit it, who doesn't love a passionate bad boy Edward? Bella and Edward have such amazing chemistry in this story that you will bite your nails off because the sexual tension is so palpable! Yes fellow readers, this fanfiction does have lemons, intense ones at that, and only adds more fuel to the fire that is Sear. I can't say enough how much I adored this fic, from the characters, to their love, and to their constant promise to stay together no matter what the circumstances. The fanfic itself is pretty short, so you will be able to complete it quite quickly; be sure to set aside some undisturbed time for this one. A hooking plot that you will not be able to put down, so be sure not to miss this story, a MUST READ!

Sear consists of 25 chapters and a total of 50,344 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual activities.

"Stolen" by Rochelle Allison 0

When Bella and her sister Tanya went for a vacation in Miami Beach, they did not expect to find two hunks that will steal their hearts away. Especially Bella, who met a handsome green-eyed man that wooed her right off her feet. Their chemistry was impeccable, to say the least, and they even spent a night together to make love. But when she wakes up the next morning to empty sheets and a knock on her door that claims that all her father's valuables were stolen, she is unable to grasp that fact that Edward was nothing but a con man. His sweet voice, his promises, and the love that she thought she so clearly saw for her in his eyes - were they a mere pretense? How could she have trusted a man so much that she didn't even realize that he was using her? Bella's self hatred and the questions that reel in her mind are endless. It was as if she didn't know who Edward really was. Edward, on the other hand, who was preparing to flee Miami, couldn't help but get Bella out of his head. He had conned many a times before, so why did this particular one stick with him so much? The constant nagging gets the better of him and he decides to ditch his crew, determined to go back to Bella. But will there be nasty consequences of the life that he left behind? And will Bella be able to trust him again?

Stolen is a fantastic story that will have you hooked by the unexpected twists and turns that it brings! When I first started the fic, I was slightly hesitant because the idea of Edward deceiving Bella was a little too uncomfortable. But I gave myself a pat on the back for not putting the story away, because I would have deeply regretted it. There is passion, love, crime, action, and fluff all in one mind-blowing story that you definitely do NOT want to miss out on. Edward has his own reasons for the things that he does, and what completely pulls at the readers hearts will be his love for Bella - which is ultimately what brings him to make the proper decisions. As all of her stories, Rochelle Allison has come up with yet another fantastic plot with barely, if any, grammatical errors. In addition, the point of view alternates between Edward and Bella so following the story's events will not be difficult at all. Even after the two get back together, their love is continuously tested when Edward's past comes up to haunt him yet again. My words are definitely too less to describe this awesome story so please go and read it!!

Stolen consists of 27 chapters and a total of 109,385 words. The story is rated M for foul language, sexual activities, and crime.

"the bitter, the sweet" by Rochelle Allison 1

At twenty years old, Bella Swan finds herself pregnant and breaking up with her boyfriend - Tyler. Fast forward four years, twenty-four year-old Bella only invests her time into her work and daughter, Charlie. She's surrounded around people who love and support both her and Charlie. Even with the many attempts made by her family, she's not interested in dating - much less finding love. Until she meets her brother's best friend, Edward Cullen - a professional soccer player who has returned to Washington from England due to an injury. For little Charlie, meeting Edward results love in first sight - not so much for Bella. At first, she believes he’s just another womanizing athlete. But as they get to know each other, she begins to see just how wrong she was. Behind the fame and the ink, he’s just another man looking for his purpose in life - much like herself. It may not take long before neither of them can fight off their feelings for each other, but there are complications along the way. When Edward’s able to get back into the game and is scouted by a team out of state, will they be able to reach a compromise without destroying everything they have worked so hard for?

As a fan of Rochelle Allison’s fanfiction, I’m constantly on the look-out for alerts in my inbox. When I saw that the bitter, the sweet was complete, it landed a spot on the top of my to-be-read list. After reading this story, I realized it’s one of the most heartwarming and awe-worthy fics I've read as of late. Bella and Edward's romance isn't immediate - no, they take the time to get to know each other and form a friendship before (finally) taking the plunge and giving their relationship a shot. It’s a wonderful story about letting go of the past and giving in to what we truly desire in life. the bitter, the sweet is told from Bella’s point of view, so we only get a glimpse inside her mind and know her experiences. Though the review I've written is short, the story is not but it's the kind of story that has a simple plot and one can easily write too much.

the bitter, the sweet consists of 40 chapters and 64,190 words. It's rated M for foul language and sexual content.

"Sessions" by Rochelle Allison 1

Bella Swan is a 19-year old student with an enormous love for music. So enormous, in fact, that she drags her friend Rosalie to yet another jam session of an up-coming band. Bella has a thing for musicians and therefore can’t help but feel like she’s in Seventh Heaven when she sees Edward, or Cullen as he is called, the lead guitarist of the band she and Rose went to check out. Though Bella is kind of fooling around with Embry, another band member, she feels such an intense draw towards Edward that she immediately ends things with Embry before they get too intense. She starts talking to her new crush and the two hit it off right away. Edward is charming yet mysterious, sweet yet cool, and apparently as smitten with Bella as she is with him. Because when Bella leaves the office of the law firm she works at as a secretary to grab some lunch, she runs into Edward. Turns out he asked her friends where she works so that he could ask her out. Before the beautiful brunette knows it, she is caught in a world of sparks, fuzzy feelings, and fast-beating hearts. However, it isn’t until Edward invites her to accompany him on a business trip to Hawaii (he is studying to become an architect, someday planning to take over his father’s company) that things start getting really intense…

Sessions is a sweet and short fanfiction that is nothing but pure fluff. You won’t find any kind of angst or drama in the 19 chapters of Rochelle Allison’s story,; a story that is very well-written and entertaining. Musicward is always a plus and Edward is described as a gorgeous, sexy as hell guitarist, who could have every girl he wants but only has eyes for Bella. He is immensely cute when it comes to her and the time they spend in Hawaii is nothing short of swoon-worthy. Though both him and Bella like to smoke pot from time to time, they are both very focused on their respective careers and are far from being lazy troublemakers. The lemons of the story, which is completely written from BPOV by the way, are tame yet very romantic. Sessions is a wonderful, fluffy story that will have you leave you with a satisfied grin at the end.

Sessions consists of 19 chapters and a total of 37,722 words. The story is rated M for lemons, profanities, and some mild drug use.

"Volition" by Rochelle Allison 0

To Bella Swan, there’s nothing more painful than being hopelessly in love with her brother’s best friend and infamous womanizer, Edward Cullen. Especially when she believes to know that the man who owns her heart will never think of her as anything other than a little sister. In Belfast, Ireland, in 1972, the time calls for anything but for a rebel to fall in love. The involvement of Edward and Bella’s brother Emmett in the Irish Republican Army terrifies Bella to know end, but she keeps close to the two anyway, unable to resist Edward’s persuasive, green eyes. When Bella finds a gun, hidden under her bed by her brother Emmett, it’s Edward who ends up having to explain and their argument is quickly halted when he kisses Bella. The next day, a bomb blast strands them together in a shelter for the night. What Bella believed could only happen in her wildest dreams has suddenly become reality. She knows that falling in love with a rebel is the stupidest thing to do, given the circumstances. But she does it anyway.

Edward Cullen knows everything about his best friend’s little sister. He even knows that she’s been in love with him ever since she was old enough to start liking boys. With a sister of his own, he knows that the last thing he needs right now is putting another beloved person in danger through his activities. Unfortunately though, he just can’t seem to stay away from the beautiful brunette that he’s grown up with. When fate presents him with a night away from the violence; a night that allows him to spend it with the one girl he could never have, he can’t help but seize the moment. Now, he not only has to deal with lusting after his best friend sister anymore but also with his enemies targeting a woman that he simply can’t bare to lose. Can a girl-next-door and a rebel ever get their happy-ever-after?

Rochelle Allison is one of Twilight fanfiction’s most beloved authors, and for good reason. She knows exactly what to write and how to write it. The very first chapter is enough to get you hooked to the entire story. Her introduction of the characters is fluid and effortless and you will find yourself falling in love with them quickly due to their firm and likeable personalities. Another plus is the flawless grammar and spelling, which makes reading this story so much more pleasant. The plot itself is perfect - absolutely believable and heart-warming, and the fact that Bella and Edward are stuck in a forbidden love just adds that much more appeal to the story. Volition is a classic among Twilight fanfictions. Reading it is almost like a rite of passage. So if you haven’t read the story already, make sure you give it a shot!

Volition consists of 31 chapters and 150,667 words. The story is rated MA for descriptive sexual activities, foul language and slight violence.

"Rise" by Rochelle Allison 1

Posted by

"Alec hired him one year ago to be my keeper, although that isn’t what either of them would call it. Bodyguard. Driver. Whatever."

Alec is not the same man Bella fell in love with six years ago. Instead of the charming young guy she met in high school, he was now a real bad boy with questionable connections and business in drug-trafficking. On top of that, Alec tends to raise a hand against Bella once in a while and has recently employed someone to be her living shadow. Over protective? Yes. Suffocating? Definitely.

Ever since her boyfriend's change in character Bella wants and needs somebody else. She feels empty and trapped in a life she no longer wants. Enter Edward Masen, Bella's new protector, and the only person, who manages to bring a smile back to her face. Their attraction is instant and although both try to fight it for some time, their relationship is inevitable. But what would the prize of their secret liaison be? What would Alec do if he found out his girl has feelings for another man? And what secret does Masen harbor - is really he the man Bella thought he was?

All of Rochelle Allison’s stories are absolutely amazing. Always well-written and with interesting plot lines. I have yet to come across one I don't like, but it is definitely not Rise. Though there is some drug dealing and violence involved, Rise is definitely not your typical crime/thriller fanfiction. Instead, the story primarily focuses on Bella and how she manages to cope with her life and its dramatic events. Once Masen comes into the picture and the two develop that amazing chemistry, Rochelle Allison's story also contains some hot lemons (mainly towards the end of the story). And who doesn't love that? Good read!

Rise consists of 26 chapters and a total of 57,852 words. The story is rated MA for graphic violence, foul language, and lemons. Please only read this fan fiction if you’re at least 18 years old.
