"Nineteen Canvasses" by Cars1 4

Posted by
(banner by Jaime)

Bella thinks she finally has it all together after a life altering accident, but when she meets Edward, a once successful artist who has lost his inspiration, everything she thought she knew changes.

During an unfortunate skiing accident, Bella lost one of her legs from the knee down and is now forever stuck with a prosthetic leg. Her dreams seems to be crushed and she finds herself to be a hopeless match for any/all men out there. But despite the circumstances, she is a confident brunette that does not use her leg as an excuse to not accomplish anything. When her brother Emmett sets her up with yet another blind date, she is fully sure of getting home alone - as usual. Though true, what she didn't expect that night was to dream about her mystery date, Edward. With his piercing green eyes and sexy crooked smile, she almost melted at the spot. Unable to have any further conversation, she had left her "date" after ten minutes of talking, adamant that a broken girl like her was not meant for a perfect man like him. But she didn't know that he was hiding some of his own demons...

After witnessing that his soon-to-be fiancé is banging another dude in his bed, Edward went haywire. He was quick to end their relationship and wanted to move on with his life - that is, if he could. With more than enough drama going on in his life, his career came to a temporary halt. As a famous painter, Edward had earned millions from the paintings he sold. But now, it seemed as though he wasn't having an inspiration to create new ones. He starts losing control and having a string of one night stands. So when he meets Bella through his friend Emmett on a blind date at a bar, he doesn't expect to feel so intrigued about the brown-eyed beauty; her deep brown eyes captivates him and he wants to know the story behind the sadness. And instantly, inspiration hits... But are her walls that easy to break? Are his?

Nineteen Canvasses is a beautiful story that portrays how love can really change a couple's life. In this case, our Edward and Bella saved each other through their love. They both have skeletons in their closets, Bella's are a lot more physical than Edward's emotional ones, but nonetheless they are there. And Cars1 manages to make these two characters connect. From the very first moment they lay eyes on each other, they feel something deep within them and instantly, the readers know that they are good for each other. But with so many invisible walls around them, will they be able to see that just as clearly as we do? It takes a while, but let me tell you that you won't be disappointed with the way the story is going. Every chapter has a slight turn that will keep you hanging to this roller coaster - and you will find out exactly why the title of this story is 'Nineteen Canvasses'. So don't wait too long to delve into this ride!

Nineteen Canvasses consists of 33 chapters and a total of 156,753 words. The story is rated M for language and lemons.

"Honest Liar" by aWhiteBlankPage 0

Posted by
(banner made by Mina)

Edward Cullen is a broken man. His life is full of conjured up lies in his mind and double standards - none of which he thinks he can match up to. He claims that he hates the idea of smoking and drinking - in fact, he has seen how that has affected his father first-hand - and yet he continues both every single day. He is determined to quit those bad habits the next day, or the next, or the next... but the cycle continues. There is only one light in his entire universe: his wife, Bella. They had been high school sweethearts and she had held his hand even back then, when he was already starting to tumble down a bad road. To him, she was always too good to be true, with the extreme wealth that she came from and the sparkly golden Mercedes she drove, there was absolutely nothing she should see in him that was even close to attractive. But she does, and by some miracle, their love for each other leads to marriage. He thinks that she is believing all of his lies - but maybe she has just... stopped. When his addiction to drugs get uncontrollable, will Bella be able to stand by his side or will it take her lack of presence for him to finally see what he is doing to his own life?

Honest Liar is not told in a typical linear timeline, but the odd timed chapters only make it more fascinating to read. Each chapter is like a puzzle of Edward's story, just like Edward's life really is. It's ironic how Edward's life is just as jumbled up as the chapters are, and when everything finally fits perfectly in the end, so does his life. A chapeau to aWhiteBlankPage for such creative writing! Edward is truly a troubled man - and he has his reasons from what he has seen in his parents - and all he needs is a helping hand. Bella's hand. Your heart will break for him, because he literally does the opposite of what his mind tells him to do, and that is very well portrayed in aWhiteBlankPage's writing. He resembles and lives a realistic life of an addict, one that is determined to quit, but won't until it's too late. The entire story is written from Edward's perspective, and immediately you will realize that this man is, in one simple word, broken and in need of love. Bella does everything she can to reign him back in, but there are things in life that you have to stop on your own and it takes Edward quite a while to do just that. Yes, it is a difficult read, but definitely not an impossible one if you have the patience. It raises a deep message, and I really do salute the author for putting down and writing a story that is so close to her own heart. Don't hesitate to give this story a try because it has a wonderful plot, beautiful characters, a lot of emotions, and a HEA. It's much underrated!

Honest Liar consists of 29 chapters and a total of 86,792 words. The story is rated MA for language, use of drugs, angst, and sexual content.

"Secret Life" by MandyLeigh87 0

Posted by
(banner made by Jaime)

When Bella meets Edward for the first time as her roommate Alice's brother, it's a mutual dislike. The two just don't seem to get along—their initial meeting is quite humorous actually, with kool-aid all over Edward's hair ;-). But they both have their significant secrets and pasts deep inside of them—one that they do not show in front of anyone. It's their broken spirits that they can somewhat connect with, and that's what brings them closer. College life is great and all, but Bella's dream had always been to become a dancer... something that is now no longer possible. So almost every night, she sneaks out and lives life the way she wants, just for a couple of hours—nothing can happen, right? On the other hand, Edward had just moved in to Washington all the way from L.A., and re-starting his life all over again wasn't something easy, especially when he had demons of his own. He sneaks out at night too, living a side of him that is completely unknown to others: a graffiti artist, and such a fantastic one at that! Will the two of them reveal their secrets to each other and find love in the process? Or will the harsh realities of their life prevent that from happening?

MandyLeigh87 creates yet another fabulous piece of fiction with Secret Life. This story is nothing like you think and will have you hooked from the very first chapter. The unexpected twists and turns are almost like reading a mystery novel, leaving you wanting to find out what happens next. As all of MandyLeigh's stories are, this one also has an amazing plot and it isn't hard to fall in love with the characters—each of them with their significant personalities. The fanfiction is written in both Edward and Bella's perspective, so it's easy to connect with them as the events of the story unfold. What I absolutely loved about the fic, though, was the fact that both our main characters are extremely strong. Although they initially hide their natural selves to each other, the readers realize that it isn't something easy to deal with and the strength combined with pure love between the couple is what makes the story so realistic. The story is a HEA, so for those of you who hesitated on the story because of that, don't worry! This fic is definitely worth a read—go give it a try!

Secret Life consists of 25 chapters and a total of 111,359 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual content.

"Lose The One You Love" by Discordia81 2

Posted by
(banner made by Mina)

After her long-term boyfriend breaks up with her, San Francisco lawyer Bella Swan goes into a deep depression. She blames herself for the split and begins losing herself in a string of one night strands, convincing herself she will never find love again in the process. When she makes her regular visit to her friend Leah's bar one day, she doesn't expect for this bronze-haired man sitting next to her to begin a conversation. What surprises her even more is that she—for the life of her—cannot stop looking at him and admiring his looks: a chiseled jaw, long eyelashes, wild hair, and sharp greyish-blue eyes. It doesn't help that his voice is velvet smooth when he introduces himself as Edward and orders a Macallan twenty-five—he’s rich too. When Bella gets a little too drunk—in more than one way—Edward offers to drive the brown-eyed, yet broken beauty back to her house. The attraction is mutual, but Edward finds himself trying to break through the shell that Bella has created around herself and not be just another faceless man for her. He is determined to make Bella his in every way, but how much patience will that take? Will Bella ever see the man in front of her and believe that she can love, even more than before, again?

Lose the One You Love is a fabulous story that will wrench your heart in many ways! One thing I should start by saying is that the characters are very OOC in this fic, as you can tell by Edward's grey-blue eyes and Bella's depressive one-night stands but the different characters are amazingly portrayed by Discordia81. She makes the reader fall in love with them with her detailed writing style. I absolutely adored Edward in this story; he is the epitome of the perfect man out there, one who is willing to build the fire within you and one who is willing to wait as long as it takes for you to love him back. In addition, he is a professional museum curator in this fanfiction, which only adds to his sexiness because of all his artistic knowledge. The entire story is told in Bella's perspective, so the initial few chapters are pretty hard to get through because you can literally feel her grief and loneliness. But as the story progresses, Discordia81 manages to let the readers see how Bella unravels from her shell and begins to realize who she really loves with the help of Edward. And did I mention the lemons? Because they are so toe-curling that you will definitely be hooked to the story if you aren't already by the plot! A MUST read story!

Lose The One You Love consists of 46 chapters and a total of 225,348 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual content.

"Branching Inward" by LifeInTheSnow 0

Posted by Anonymous

After having grieved over the tragic death of her mother for quite a while, Bella Swan decides that a change of scenery is exactly what she needs right now. So she packs her bags, leaves Phoenix behind, and moves to the small town of Clearwater, OH. There, she was given a one-year appointment as a professor in the American Studies department at the Newcoven College and managed to find a cute little house. It is also there, that she comes face to face with a tall and handsome young man, whose aloofness and apparent disinterest for those around him fascinate her immensely. Bella soon finds out that his name is Edward Cullen and that he is a tenured professor for art. Through talking to the college librarian Angela as well as Edward's sister Alice (who is also Bella's neighbor), the young woman learns that he is on a half-year sabbatical at the moment and has avoided socializing with others due to a traumatic event three years ago. The passionate artist even stopped making art and shys away from family and friends. Bella cannot help but feel drawn to the gorgeous man and is soon overcome with a desire to help him to once again become the person he used to be. But Edward isn't the only one suffering from his past...

I had heard a lot good things about this story but, until recently, never found myself in the right mood to read it. However, now that I've finally done so, I'm incredibly happy. This story is differs immensely from most other TwiFics out there. It is very descriptive and will describe the characters' feelings as well as the world they live in by using wonderful metaphors and colorful language. Edward, in this story, is as human as can be. He is a young man, who isn't exempt from making mistakes and having to learn certain lessons of life the hard way. He and Bella develop a strong connection, probably one of the strongest ever written. They help each other through the mess that is their lives; neither of them being perfect - at all. The supporting characters complete this wonderful fanfiction, which is mostly written from Bella's POV but with some EPOV thrown in here and there. They are one big, amazing family that you cannot help but love to be a part of! Even though it's often angsty and heavy on the emotions, I can only advice you to read this story. It's a true gem!

Branching Inward consists of 28 chapters and a total of 165,203 words. The story is rated M for angst, description of sexual, and foul language.

"California Dreamin'" by chocaholic123 1

Posted by Anonymous

The year is 1967 and the heat is blistering in the small town of Wentworth, CA. Bella Swan and her best friend Angela have just graduated from High School and enjoy their last summer before starting college. They spend their time hanging out at the lake, listening to The Beattles and Sergeant Pepper, and gossiping about Jessica Stanley's unexpected pregnancy. They are also very much involved in the anti-Vietnam-war-protests, which makes them go on a daytrip to San Francisco, where Angela wants to listen to a speech held by one of Martin Luther King's staff. The girls are joined by four friends: Angela's boyfriend Ben and his three buddies Eric, Tyler, and Edward. Due to the limited space in the car, Bella spends the whole journey to Frisco on Edward's lap and feels strongly attracted to him...

Edward is a pre-med student, who is supposed to follow the footsteps of his father, congressman Carlise Cullen, and his brother Emmett, even though he has no interest in politics whatsoever. He has also been drafted to go to Vietnam and will leave town soon to start basic training. Falling in love with a lovely girl was the last thing he intended to do, but it happens nonetheless. He enjoys every minute he spends with Bella on their trip and stays in contact with her once they get back home. The two become a couple and Bella loses her virginity to Edward - just a day before he leaves for training. With promises to come back to her, Edward starts his journey that is the Vietnam war and, surrounded by bombs, blood, and death, loses himself and what he thought he had...

This story is both incredibly wonderful and heart-breaking. Edward and Bella fall quick and hard and when the time comes to say goodbye, the reader is just as devastated as they are. Edward starts writing her sweet yet also horrible letters; describing how much he misses her and her warmth and telling her about the horrors of war. I have to admit, I had a few tears in my eyes when I finished each letter, which were written with immense honesty and love. After leaving Bella to receive training, the two meet two more times, each and every time Edward comes back more broken than before. The war in Vietnam, a war that he never believed in in the first place, is taking its toll on him and Bella isn't only one "thing" he uses to ease the pain. It's incredibly sad to see him fall apart like that, becoming a shell of the charming young man he once was. Yet despite it being an angsty story, it DOES have a happy ending. An ending that leaves you dreaming about their wonderful future together! The story is completely written from Bella's POV and Jasper, Alice, Rose, and Emmett are not mentioned at all or play just very small roles. Read it, it's worth it!

California Dreamin' consists of 23 chapters and 93,809 words. The story is rated MA for profanities, angst, drug use, and lemons.

"Work of Art" by abstract way 0

 (banner made by Mandy)

The first time Bella Swan meets hot and famous Edward Masen, she is completely mesmerized. The way he naturally charms her with his sexy crooked smile and talks with his swoon-worthy voice has her dazzled to the point where she starts imagining a future with him. But all her infatuation comes crashing down in the blink of an eye when she finds out that Edward isn't just charming her but pretty much every woman crosses paths with! Shocked, Bella has to realize that he is far from being what he appears to be; but who is he? His had and arrogant exterior mask is all he shows to others. Even though he is an extremely talented abstract painter, his focus on partying and hooking up with art-whores, jeopardizes his promising career. Seeing how much trouble Edward is, Bella decides to stay away from him as much as possible; ignoring the impossible attraction she feels towards him. The last things she wants to be is another one of his flings. Yet destiny seems to have other plans as it forces her to work with Edward over and over again...

One night, when Edward causes yet another havoc at one of his parties, Bella comes to his rescue; pulling him away from the chaos and bringing him to his hotel safely. All the while, Edward seems to be in a catatonic state and when Bella's fingers weave through his soft hair, he finally come out of it. He hugs he fiercely and repeats, "Please don't leave me, Bella. Please don't leave, angel, please." That is the first time that Bella sees a glimpse of the real Edward and she can't help but let her caring nature come out. She wants to help this beautiful, broken man. With the help of a few close friends the young woman manages to uncover the mysteries behind him. Bella learns that Edward has gone through a severe heart-break; leaving him in a dark place; trusting absolutely no one. How can she possibly get him out of his personal hell-hole when he refuses to fully give her a chance? Moreover, Edward soon becomes 'obsessed' with Bella; calling her his angel and savior. She has no idea what causes him to see her like that but she ignores it for now and starts working with him. Because she intends to write a novel about Edward as an artist she is forced to interact with him more and more, helping her figure out who he really is. And though the two of them feel this strong pull between each other, Edward just can't seem to come of his shell. The couple literally takes one step forward before going two steps back. Will they overcome their severe problems or will Bella give up on him?

Get your seat-belts on, folks, because this story is unlike anything you have ever read before! It will take you on an emotional rollercoaster: where there is adorable chemistry between Edward and Bella in one chapter, there's the angst waiting for you in the next. You'll find yourself laughing about their cuteness, become sweaty and start panting from the wonderful lemons, and cry and get angry over their hot-headedness! But believe me, the story is SO WORTH all of that!
Abstract Way has really incorporated a great deal of artistic knowledge into the story and the you will feel as though you were in LA, experiencing great art shows and perusing through art galleries. The way she has intricately portrayed Edward in the fanfiction is really the highlight of the entire piece. She shows how he turned into the person we meet and how Bella manages to get him back on track. The story is also extremely realistic with regards to the development (and setbacks) of the couple's relationship. It takes time for Bella and Edward to walk over all the bumps and obstacles which were thrown in their way and it is quite long and frustrating for both of them. They try to smoothen out the multiple rough edges that each of their character's has but things don't always work well right away. Yes, they make mistakes along the way - some which you may not like to read, but it is amazing to read how they both acknowledge them.
Although the story is entirely in Bella's point of view, the readers gets all the information he needs to get in order to understand the story. Everything just reveals itself slowly as the chapters fly by. And yes, the fanfic does seem slightly longer than what you may be used to, but trust me when I say that you won't realize how the chapters fly by once you start! A MUST READ NO ONE SHOULD MISS OUT ON!!!

Work of Art consists of 63 chapters (including 2 outtakes from EPOV) and 334,477 words. The story is rated M for content, language, and hot lemons!

"Girl With a Red Umbrella" by justaskalice & spanglemaker9 2

 (banner made by Mandy)

Paris 1950: the war is over and, once again, the city is alive with artists, writers, and musicians. Sadly, the reason why Bella Swan is making her way to the b(l)ooming capitol of France has not much to do with her hoping to start a successful career, but rather that her best friend, Rosalie Hale, has suddenly gone missing. A few days ago, Bella had received a letter from Rosalie's roommate, Alice Brandon, who informed her about her friend's sudden absence. Determined to find Rose no matter what, Bella immediately drops everything and leaves her hometown Forks behind to move to Paris. With the help of a kind police officer, she eventually finds her way safely to Alice's apartment and both begin their search right away... Meanwhile, painter Edward Cullen is out by the river Seine looking for some inspiration, when he notices a beautiful young lady with wonderful tresses of brown hair. Her bright red umbrella makes her stick out of the crowd and the image burns itself into Edward's memory. So captivated by the mysterious beauty, he begins painting her down on his canvas...

With the help of some old letters from Rose, Bella and Alice learn that she last hung out with her boyfriend Royce King. Though the man is more than suspicious, Bella refuses to believe he could have anything to do with Rose's disappearance - he made her so happy, didn't he? One night, the two young women enter a bar where they not only meet Jasper, a strange yet charming scarred man, but also run into Edward. The guys agree to help Bella and Alice with their search and even join forces with officer Emmett McCarty. During their mysterious quest of finding Rose, Bella and Edward start developing deep feelings for one another, but what will happen when Bella has to go back to Forks? Will they be able to manage a relationship? And will the group ever find Rose or does she not want to be found at all?

Hang on tight for this wonderful fanfic, everyone! The story is set in the past and told through Edward's (spangly9) and Bella's (justaskalice) points of view. The big mystery that shapes the whole fanfic is absolutely captivating and your level of excitement will only get higher and higher the more the plot thickens. Apart from the main story-line about finding Rose, Girl with a Red Umbrella focuses much on the relationship between Edward and Bella. The latter is going through a serious inner battle when she has to decide what her future will look like - especially since she also has to learn the native French language - and if it might contain Edward or not. Furthermore, that authors make sure that each and every (!) character has a story to tell, always including a past traumatic event - especially Edward's back-story adds to the plot. I promise that you will go through a series of emotions when you read this wonderful story that realistically portrays the 1950's in Paris. I honestly cannot emphasize how GOOD this fanfiction is, I'm really lacking the right vocabulary here. Please give it a shot, if not for the great story-line, then at least for the hot smut that is waiting for you!

Girl With a Red Umbrella consists of 30 chapters and 160,699 words. The story is rated M for  language, sexual activities and mention of abuse (very brief mentions).

"The Art Teacher" by spangly9 0

Posted by
(banner made by Elena)

Bella Swan calls herself lucky because she is the adopted daughter of billionaire Phil Dwyer and has all the luxuries in the world. She knows very well that there probably isn't any other young woman her age who lives the life she does, yet still  she isn't really content. After her father, Charlie, died in the line of duty as a police officer in Forks, she was forced to go live a different, lavish lifestyle with her mother Renee in New York. Renee was, to put it candidly, nothing but a gold-digger who neither really understood the value of a lasting relationship nor has ever been a good mother to her daughter. Instead, her pretentious personality strived to do everything a member of the high society would do and it comes as no surprise when she enrolls Bella in an art appreciation class without asking her first. As the children of Renee's friends have done exactly the same with their kids, Renee is determined to send her daughter to the class as well. Though Bella is hesitant at first, she soon goes along with her mother's decision as it would at least enable her to maintain her grades. What she didn't expect was to meet Edward Cullen...

Despite the intense pull they feel towards each other, Edward and Bella try to maintain the civil relationship of teacher and student. However, Edward is only four years older than Bella and mesmerizes her not only with his good looks but also with the world of art he creates. But even though it gets harder and harder to stay away from each other, he keeps pushing her away. More than once, Bella watches him meet older, rich women and before she knows it, Edward is gone. All the colors and art he had created within her immediately disappear and the young girl mourns the loss of the man who had the potential to be everything to her.

It is years before they meet again (though only after about three chapters in the story) and instantly the magnetic pull they felt for one another is back again. Neither of them has forgotten the other and the intense feelings they harbored, yet the possibility of being together seems even slimmer than before. Because while Edward was gone, Renee forced Bella into an engagement with a workaholic. As a struggling young artist, Edward sees no chance to be able to compete with the rich and successful fiancé. Also, Bella feels more frustrated than ever with the life she is trapped in but will she be ready to leave? And would Edward chase after her and manage to gain her trust back?

The Art Teacher is an excellent fanfic that spurs all kinds of sentiments. The reader experiences the  entire story through Bella's eyes and one can instantly understand and relate with her feeling of being trapped in a rich lifestyle she doesn't want. Also, the static she experiences when she is with Edward is almost palpable. Spangly9 is one of my favorite authors and she never ceases to amaze me with her capability to make the reader feel as if they are actually living it. She realistically portrays the conflicts between Edward and Bella: the difference in status, lifestyle, and age, the insecurities with their careers, and their immense need to be with each other completely. Though Edward leaves Bella for a couple of years/chapters, The Art Teacher has definitely a sweet HEA and contains some hot smut. Furthermore, Alice has a beautiful, but significant role as Bella's best friend, who supports her no matter what. Although Alice is depicted as Bella's close friend in multiple fanfics I think this story really shows why she is so important. A great story will that keep you up at nights! Please read it, otherwise you will be missing something!!

The Art Teacher consists of 16 chapters and 97,635 words. The story is rated M for language and hot lemons.

"My Perfect Mr Imperfect" by xrxdanixrx 1

"Does he know?"
"Know what?"
"That you're in love with him..."
Bella's mending a broken heart that her Mr. Perfect has inflicted on her out of the blue. How can a year of perfect love be called to a screeching halt with no explanation? And not only that, but said ex is also her boss and sending her seriously mixed signals. Forcing Bella to cling to what little hope may or may not be left and in the process lose her self respect. Not even her good friend and co-worker Rosalie can knock any sense into her.

Enter Mr. Imperfect, Edward Masen, in the form a new client and old college roommate of Mr. Perfect. He's rude, unkept, and the exact opposite of Jasper Whitlock. How they could have ever been friends is a mystery to Bella. But she'll soon learn looks can be deceiving and to stop putting her trust in the wrong people and start allowing the right ones in.

Oh, how can I count the ways I love this fic? Angst. Lemons. Self Discovery... This is yet another one of my repeat reads. Edward is rough around the edges but you can't help but fall for him and his sexy self. Bella can at times be a little frustrating, but she does what nearly any woman would do when she's sure she's found her Mr. Perfect. It doesn't hurt that both guys are super hot and Rosalie is super awesome. I love when Bella and Rose are friends in fics and this is one of my favs. The writing is awesome and each character is perfectly crafted to play their role in Bella's life. I really enjoyed this fic and the fact that it has super hot lemons is just icing on the cake. ;)

My Perfect Mr. Imperfect consists of 26 chapters and 165,467 words. This fic is rated MA for language and steamy as hell lemons.

"The Longest Summer" by lexiecullen17 0

Posted by Anonymous

For as long as she can remember Bella Swan spent her summer holidays at "Long Lake Camp". There, she not only met some of her closest friends and discovered her deep passion for film making but she also fell in love with her incredibly charming yet considerably older counselor, Edward Cullen. Year after year, Bella has to watch as her crush picks up one girl after the other, and with their 7-year age difference, the young student sees close to no chance that one day she could be one of them.

But the tides seem to turn the moment Bella turns 18 because now she would not return to "Long Lake" as an innocent camper but as an attractive and very horny counselor. Her mission is clear and seemingly simple: make Edward finally notice her as a grown woman rather than just LB ("Little Bella"), the little girl he likes to work with in the video shack. But Bella soon has to realize that her project will turn out to be a lot more difficult than anticipated. Yes, Edward seems to be aware of her impressive body, and charming wit, yet he strongly resists his upcoming feelings. Because to Edward Bella is not just seven years younger than him but also far too good to simply be one of his conquests...

Two words: slow burn. The sexual tension in this story is more than palpable but misunderstandings and stubbornness keep our dear Edward and Bella from doing the deed very early in the story. In the beginning, Edward is totally oblivious to his feelings towards Bella and it will take his calm and collected friend Jasper and his totally crazy yet absolutely lovable sister Tanya to make him see reason. Once he does and his feelings are out in the open, well, let me tell you that it is getting really hot!! Grab an iced tea, sit on the porch or the balcony and enjoy lexicullen17's wonderful summer story - just make sure to hide your blush once you stumble upon a lemon! ; )

The Longest Summer consists of 32 chapters and 255,530 words. The story is rated MA for language and lemons.

"Marley's Mother" by Pandora's Box Is Heavy 0

Posted by Anonymous

When Isabella Swan finds out that she is pregnant, she is beyond excited. Even though her boyfriend at that time doesn't want anything to do with his child and her father Charlie is less than thrilled about the pregnancy, the young woman cannot help but look forward to the arrival of the new family member. A tragic accident destroys her hopes and dreams, however. Bella is in a coma and once she wakes up about six months after the terrible events her child is gone. It isn't until four and a half years later that she learns that her little daughter was given up for adoption...

Shortly before his daughter's fifth birthday, Edward Cullen receives a shocking letter in the mail. One Ms. Isabella Swan claims to be his "little muffin" Marley's birth mother and asks about her daughter's well-being. After a maternity test proves that the woman is telling the truth, Edward decides to meet with her and get to know her a little better. Slowly but gradually, he and Isabella form a bond that neither of them had ever had before. And Marley seems to get the mother she always wanted...

What a sweet story! Marley is the cutest little thing you could possibly imagine and her and Edward's conversations are more than adorable. Though most of the canon characters are portrayed exactly how we know them (first and foremost Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme), you might find that Charlie and Alice might take some getting used to. While Bella's father is responsible for Marley being given up for adoption, Alice apparently snuck into Jasper's heart and life only to take all of his money and run off. It remains to be seen where their stories as well as the main plot develop over the next chapters. It definitely looks very promising!

So far, Marley's Mother consists of 26 chapters and a total of 40,843 words. The story is rated M for foul language and some lemons.

"Taking Chances" by Butterfly Betty 1

Posted by Anonymous

When Bella takes her shy and nervous five-year-old son Alex to his first day of kindergarten, she runs into Edward, a very handsome young man and also father of Anthony, one of Alex's class mates. The two boys hit it off immediately and constantly bug their parents with sleepovers, play dates, and shared dinners. And while Alex and Anthony spend time watching animals in the zoo or fight Star Wars battles, Edward and Bella get to know each other really well and begin to feel more than just friendship for each other. Yet as both have already experienced what it means to lose a beloved person, will they be willing and able to fall in love one last time?

Taking Chances has its flaws. Apart from a number of typos, one and the same word is often used in three or more consecutive sentences which is a little detrimental to the style. That said, the story needs to be recommended nonetheless as Butterfly Betty describes the lives of Edward, Anthony, Bella, and Alex in very realistic kind of way.
Bella often gives others a piece of her mind, especially when friends and family behave awkwardly around her because of her late fiancé. She also doesn't let Alex go to Anthony's house the first day they met as she doesn't know Edward and is unsure whether she can trust him with her son. Finally, Bella and Edward's relationship takes some time to evolve - just like in real life. Yes, the two feel attracted to each other, but it needs good friends and family to push them in the right direction.

Taking Chances consists of 47 chapters and a total of 151,767 words. The story is rated M for description of adult situations and foul language.

"Maybe I'm Falling For You" by coldplaywhore / flightlessbird11 0

Posted by Anonymous

Two young and talented fanfiction authors put their heads together and came up with a funny, romantic, and absolutely entertaining story.

In Maybe I'm Falling For You Edward and Bella know each other long before they actually meet in person for the first time. How so? Well, disguised as their alter egos PennyLane84 and Paperback_Writer the two happen to meet in a Beatles chat room and start an intense online friendship. However, while they talk about pretty much every thing that comes to their minds they neither speak about their personal lives nor give away their real names.

One morning, Edward (who is in desperate need of his daily caffeine fix) goes to his local coffee shop and meets the most odd looking yet also most beautiful woman he has ever seen. After days of watching her he finally manages to talk to her and the two become good friends. Bella and Edward develop feelings for each other but are hesitant to act accordingly. While Bella immensely enjoys the company of Paperback_Writer, Edward is absolutely enchanted by PennyLane84. So the question is, who to choose?

This story is so funny, your eyes definitely won't remain dry. Especially the appearance of Emmett is always a guarantee for a good amount of laughter. Addmittedly, in this story he is portrayed as being a little slow and clueless, but that doesn't make him less adorable or likable! Also, Edward and Bella have a very active sex life which provides the reader with tons of nice lemons! In a nutshell: read this story, you won't regret it!

Maybe I'm Falling For You consists of 36 chapters and a total of 202,788 words. The story is rated M for mature content.

"Family of Perfection" by DazzlinSparkle05 0

Posted by Anonymous

Bella and Edward know each other since high school. While Bella developed some kind of crush on her best friend, Edward didn't seem to feel the same. After a night of too much partying, the two sleep with each other and Bella gets pregnant. Nine months later, Mackenzie Carlie Cullen is born and has been keeping her parents busy ever since.

Though Edward and Bella are not romantically involved they live together for the sake of their daughter. Bella has been harboring deep feelings for the father of her child, but is convinced that Edward doesn't feel the same. And because of Edward's job as a freelance photographer (which forces him to travel more than spending time at home), she knows that any kind of bonding would be immensely difficult, if not close to impossible...

Family of Perfection is nicely written and very emotional. The characters are spot on - especially the interactions between Edward, Bella, and their daughter are sweet and adorable. You just can't help but desperately wish that the three can finally manage to become a real family!

Family of Perfection consists of  45 chapter and a total of 114,387 words. All characters are human. The story is rated M for mature content.

"Last Tango in Forks" by AwesomeSauce76 0

Last Tango in Forks is probably the most erotic fanfiction I have ever read. Apart from BDSM stories like Master of the Universe (which I'm not a huge fan of) it doesn't get any hotter than that.

Bella is looking for an apartment and meets a mysterious stranger. From the moment they first see each other, things get extremely sexual. Soon, Bella finds herself visiting her passionate lover on a regular basis, despite the fact that she is engaged. Both try not to get too attached to each other and refrain from revealing anything too private about themselves (including their names). The plan backfires however when Bella is invited to Carlisle and Esme's house (Carlisle is Bella's boss - she's a nurse) and Edward happens to visit his parents...

The story offers the whole spectrum of sexual activities (apart from BDSM). Bella and Edward become very passionate and cannot seem to get enough of each other. While losing themselves in their own little bubble they have demons to fight in real life. Bella struggles with her engagement and Edward is unable to seriously connect to people. It takes some time for the two to finally realize that all they need and want is the other. If you're looking for some hot reading, Last Tango in Forks is the story for you.

Last Tango in Forks consists of 31 chapters and a total of 185,331 words. All characters are human. The story is rated MA for highly mature content. If you are under the age of 18 I'll really advise you not to read the fanfiction.
