A graduate from the University of Chicago, Bella Swan hopes to get into grad school at the prestigious London School of Economics - even if it means she has to move to the other end of the world, leaving her sister Rosalie and brother-in-law Emmett behind in Chicago. Bella has made sure that everything in her life is set and she is more than looking forward to her future. Well, the best laid plans don't always work out now, do they? Just before Bella is about to board her flight to London, she is stopped by one Officer Black, who bugs her for information about Edward Cullen. Edward, whom she hasn't heard from many years. Edward, who once was her shy, geeky boyfriend back in High School. Yes, she still remembers him but when she hears from Mr. Black that he is the leader of one the most dangerous Mafia groups in and around Chicago, she is shocked. The officer continues to tell Bella all of Edward's organizations as well as the number of bars to restaurants he owned named after her - all of them. She, he says, is his only weakness. Will Bella agree to help him bring the mob boss down, or will she realize that he is still the same Edward she loves? Furthermore, why can't she help but feel like Officer Black also has a personal problem with Edward and is even willing to lurk in the shadows to finish his mission?

The End, The Beginning is one of the best crime stories that I have ever come across and it is definitely a MUST READ! I am a very picky reader and honestly, Mafiaward is my favorite type of Edward. Let's admit it, he is very sexy when he's uber-protective and has a gun in his hand. If you loved other Mobward stories like the very popular "There Will Be Blood", then this story will have you completely hooked! The plot of the fanfiction is mid-blowing and deals with a lot more than just the reunion and love of Bella and Edward. Though I'd love to tell you more, I don't want to reveal too much and ruin the experience of reading this wonderful story for you guys. But trust me when I say that you will not in the slightest be disappointed by this fanfic and, like me, will probably want to read over and over again! Edward is an absolute romantic and although Bella is initially siding with Jacob and his mission to bring him down, she quickly realizes that Edward is still the same person she fell in love with all those years back. The chemistry between the two main characters is so powerful that you can almost feel it. That being said, the story is rated MA due to some graphic and violent scenes but that is to be expected in a crime filled story right? So what are you waiting for? Read it NOW! ;)
