From the moment she first laid eyes on Edward Cullen, Bella Swan has lost herself in a full-grown obession. This man is completely driving her crazy with his tousled bronze hair, his muscular physique, and sharp facial features. Unfortunately for Bella, he is also totally off limits. Because Edward is no other than the current CEO of Cullen Inc., the biggest rival of Dyco Tech, the company Bella is the boss of. So instead of paying Mr. Cullen a visit and jumping his sexy bones, Bella has no other choice but to watch the handsome man from afar. Interestingly enough, she is not the only one playing spy.
Because Edward seems to be as obsessed with Bella as she is with him and watches her every move from his office. And even though they perform a hot striptease for each other at their respective windows, Bella is adament to keep things professional. That changes, however, when she runs into Edward in an elevator and the two cannot keep their hands off each other. To top it off, Edward seems to also have moved into Bella's apartment building and managed to get her telephone number. Before she knows it, the beautiful brunette agrees to a sexy arangement with Edward that allows them both to get all they want from each other three days a week. What Bella didn't intend to happen was to begin to feel more for Edward than just an insane attraction. While trying to find out more about her crazy feelings as well as the man for whom she harbors them, Bella stumbles upon some really strange things in Edward's life...
I have to admit that I didn't give this story a chance until the third time I had it in my hands. The reason why I rejected it the fict the first two times is that Bella and Edward's exhibitionistic characters really take some getting used to. I mean, who strips for a stranger at a window? Yet once one gets over this little quirk in their personalities, Spy Games is very entertaining and filled with lots of mysteries. Edward definitely has one or two skeletons in his closet and his unwillingness to let Bella into his life can be slightly frustrating at times. And of course, the fic is filled with lemons, dozens of them, after all, that is why they make their arrangement in the first place. These two crave each other and try a number of comparatively unconventional things to get the other off. If you are in need of a hot and bossy Edward as well as a feisty Bella, Spy Games is definitely it for you!
