"What Happens in Biology" by Shahula 0

What happens in biology, stays in biology. At least, it does when school bad-boy, Edward Cullen, decides to feel you up in said class. Bella Swan has been warned by her father to stay away from the motorcycle-riding, leather-jacket-wearing rebel, but she soon discovers that the forbidden fruit really does taste sweeter. Bella finds herself inexplicably drawn towards her biology partner. She longs for his accidental touches and ‘knee weakening crooked grins’. Though she tells herself she needs to stop, if only so as not to embarrass herself, there’s no denying it. Bella Swan is addicted. Scandalous rumors surround the mysterious Edward Cullen, but Bella finds that she craves their secret interactions in biology more than anything. Will the good girl find a way to get the bad boy to spill his secrets?

In this classic tale of rebel and police officer’s daughter, Shahula weaves in humor and sweet fluff. If a whole lot of angst is what you’re looking for, this one-shot definitely isn’t the place to go. It’s short, sweet, and is great for a little something to read after work. There’s a wonderful feel-good nature around the whole story that ensures that you’ll come out of it smiling. It’s one of those stories that you keep coming back to because you just like the beautiful simplicity of a guy meeting a girl. I’ll admit that I’m a complete sucker for romantic meet cutes and this definitely satisfied my thirst. If you haven’t read this popular one-shot yet, you should definitely put it on your ‘to-read’ list. It’s a keeper.

What Happens in Biology is a one-shot and consists of 9,646 words. This story is rated M for under-the-desk sexy times.

"Pressing my Luck" by Shahula 1

Posted by Anonymous

Shortly after moving to San Diego, Bella Swan and her best friend Alice open their own tattoo and piercing shop and name it Lucky Ink. After years of hard work, Bella is finally invited to take part in the Ink God contest, an national competition hosted annually by three of the most well known players in the American tattoo world. So without thinking twice, the 26-year old packs her bags and flies to Chicago. There, she promptly runs into Edward Masen, who is not only one of her competitors at the contest but also her mentor and the only man she has ever loved.

Bella and Edward met when Bella began her apprenticeship in Edward's shop at the age of twenty. As one of the best tattoo artists in the business, Edward teaches Bella everything she needs to know to become a successful tattoist herself, and he also falls in love with her. Though he is six years older then Bella, Edward cares deeply for his student and wants to settle down with her. But Bella, though she loves Edward just as much, isn't yet ready for marriage and children and eventually lets him go to find someone who is. Now, at the Ink God contest six years later, the feelings she still harbors for him come back to the surface. And while trying to win the competition, Bella also has to figure out what she really wants in life, or rather, who...

If you are already familiar with at least some of Shahula's stories, you'll know that they tend to include very yummy and steamy lemons. Pressing My Luck is no exception to that because once Edward and Bella (finally) give in to their feelings for each other, they spend some passionate nights together. Their sexual encounters are especially hot due to their multiple piercings and tattoos. Both of them have ink on their bodies that represent the other and all the steel rings and balls make for some fantastic friction. ;-) The story, which is completely written from Bella's POV, is written as a drabble fic, i.e. the chapters are kept rather short. But don't worry, the reading flow is never impeded because of the unusual format and you'll most likely be able to finish the story in one sitting. It's free of angst, includes only a little drama, and is waiting with an HEA for you. Go check it out!

Pressing My Luck consists of 15 chapters and a total of 22,088 words. The story is rated MA for graphic lemons and foul language.

"The Rinse Cycle" by Shahula 0

Posted by Anonymous

College senior Bella Swan tries to leaver her past behind and become a responsible young adult. Mostly, her plan involves making rational decisions by following her head rather than her heart. So far so good. Now, enter a bronze-haired adonis. Not so good...

Just like Bella, Edward regularly visits the local laundromat "The Ringer" - and each and every time with a different girl in his arms. One day, during a hot make-out session with one of his conquests, Edward lays eyes on a beautiful girl with mahagony colored hair. Like the true womanizer that he is, he approaches the alluring brunette the next day and starts a conversation with her. It is then that Edward realizes that this girl might be more than just quick flirt.

The Rinse Cycle is a drabble fic, i.e. that it consists of a lot of really short chapters. But don't worry, Shahula does a good job in making sure that the train of reading is not disturbed!
Almost the complete story takes place at the laundromat. Edward and Bella make a habit out of meeting on Saturday evenings when they are usually the only customers there. And let me tell you, once they both become aware of their attraction for each other they do a lot of dirty things! Oh, and don't forget to read the epilogue - it's really sweet! ; )

The Rinse Cycle consists of 79 chapters (incl. outtakes) and a total of 37,699 words. The story is MA rated for graphic description of sexual activities. If you're under the age of 18, I'll adivse you not to read the fanfiction.

"All the Presidents Men" by Shahula 0

Posted by Anonymous

In the rare moments when Presiden Cullen allows himself to take a breath and think about the last couple of years, the only things he finds are pain, sorrow, and uncertainty. Because four years ago, his wife Bella never returned from a business trip to Arizona. The mother of his beautiful little daughter Beth spend some time raising money for her husband's campaign but disappeared on her way to the airport. Just like that. No trace of a body, no evidence for a crime

Once elected into office, Edward creates a special task force that is supposed to investigate Bella's case. And finally, after having almost lost hope, the President's head of security, Emmett McCarthy, informs him that his wife had been found - in Kodiak, Alaska.
Unfortunately though, the First Lady, who is now blond and has a slight tan, has no recollections of her past with Edward. As Charlotte Byrd she started a new life, works in a bookshop and owns a small bakery. And one day, her life is once again turned upside down when taken by the CIA to meet the President of the United States.

All the President's Men is a wonderful piece of fiction by the talented Shahula. I love me some Presidentward! Wohoo, our Edward is such a sweet and loving father and husband it almost hurts to read it. Even though his wife is not the same woman he met, he falls for her nonetheless. Of course, these two are soul mates, right?
The story's chapters are relatively short and always include a little (and usually freaking cute) snippet of the past. This way, the reader easily manages to get an impression of both the "old" and the "new" Bella and can understand that it hurts Edward to know that she can't remember any of it.

All the President's Men consists of 30 chapters and a total of 61,617 words. The story is rated T and thus suitable for readers age 15 and older.
