"Shadow Mission" by maxigrumpling 1

Posted by KatHat
(banner made by beegurl13)

When you look at the many popular images of Edward Cullen, you can clearly recognize the devastatingly handsome A-list movie star who has an outstanding reputation for immersing himself into the characters he portrays. He has just completed the fifth installment of a highly successful series called “Shadow Mission” where he plays the lead role of Special Agent, James Goodall. The only problem is, he doesn’t always come out of character when he leaves the set. This personality shift apparently happens as a defense mechanism triggered by confrontation or stress in his life and seems to have started after an unresolved tragedy that happened five years ago which resulted in the death of his former bodyguard, Charlie Swan. In addition to his mental instability, he can’t remember anything from before that time, he hears voices in his head, has nightmares and has his current bodyguard, Emmett McCarty, at wits end to keep him safe and protected; especially when he slips into other personalities. What exactly happened years ago when Charlie was shot that left him so traumatized? Why was there no resolution to the investigation? Why can’t Emmett find any records of Edward’s life before that time?

Bella Swan was his closest friend when Edward was a beginning actor and her dad was his bodyguard. They did many things together on a daily basis and over the years, even though she was a little too young to be in a relationship with him, they both harbored feelings of more than friendship that they never acted on. She had hopes that one day it could all work out, but suddenly, after Charlie’s tragic and mysterious death, Edward cut all ties with her. He did not even attend Charlie’s funeral or send any condolences or respond to any calls. She was blocked and denied at every attempt to contact him by Edward’s agent, Tanya Denali, and after repeated attempts, she finally decided she had had enough. It had been five years and she wanted some answers. After being turned away at the gate to Edward’s mansion, she scaled the fence, fell out of the tree, was promptly apprehended by security, and she still demanded to see Edward! What will happen? Will she ever get to see Edward and get answers? Will he remember her?

This is a spectacular fanfiction! You will be immediately pulled in to Shadow Mission by the brilliant writing and sequencing of maxigrumpling, but get this - the plot and story-line are from Mr. maxigrumpling! How cool of a collaboration is that? The author also uses a clever ploy of successfully writing this in multiple first person POVs, which gives you a feeling of being omnipresent, like you are viewing changing scenes in a movie and can see action happening through the eyes of different people; one of those being the most impressive Emmett characters you will have ever met. Shadow Mission will get your adrenaline pumping as it is a fast-paced, action-packed mystery full of intrigue and conspiracy that will appeal to you on a wide range of emotions. On top of the danger and suspense, there is comfort, humor and at the heart of it is of course, the truly inspiring and healing joy of rediscovering a lost love. If you are not already reading this, please click on the link right now and check it out!

Shadow Mission consists of 21 chapters and a total of 188,658 words. It is rated M for language, content and sexy times.

"My Heart My Home" by Edward's Eternal 2

Posted by

(banner made by Mina)

Edward Cullen is a famous actor with a British accent that has been getting some trouble from his current housekeeper, Jane. Before it got any worse than it already was, Edward decides to fire the poor excuse for a maid that Jane is and turns to his PA and confidant, Emmett for help. Fate plays out really well when the very same minute, Emmett gets a call from her elder sister that things are going down on her end; Bella had been betrayed and heartbroken by her ex-husband and wanted nothing more than a fresh start to her life. So Emmett doesn't hesitate to call her over to Edward's place to work for him as his housekeeper and cook. It isn't long before Edward and Bella form the best of friendship and understand each other more than anyone else. She cooks his favorite cupcakes and sandwiches with extra pickles, and he in turn allows her to be comfortable at his - no, their - house with her crazy blaring music and off-tune singing. Will either of them be able to realize that what they have between them is nothing but love? Will Bella be able to move on from her past into Edward life which is full of paps, or is his life too nonadjustable?

My Heart, My Home is a light and fun read that everyone should give a try. Edward's Eternal creates Edward Cullen very similar to who we know as the existing Robert Pattinson today - with his hot British accent and his ability to remain humble at all times. Edward, in this story, is that and so much more with his crazy tendencies to devour food and love Bella like no other. You will fall in love with his sweet self and beg Bella to drop everything and love the man back - because that is definitely what we all would do ;-). Although a story that has plenty of humor, it has a great plot-line which makes it even more fascinating to read. Edward's Eternal has written many great stories, and this one is also definitely on the list of amazing-ness. She is able to create a very lovely persona for both of our characters, and at the same time combine the realism that is involved in an actor's life. The fact that Bella might feel slightly uncomfortable about starting her life with Edward as his girlfriend, is totally understandable if you consider the amount of paps that will surround their hot story. But, in the end, this story is a HEA and definitely one that should not be missed! Go give it a try!

My Heart, My Home consists of 26 chapters and a total of 86,338 words. The story is rated M for language and some sexual content.

"Fame" by BlueIsSoul 0

Posted by
(banner made by Bethany)

Edward and Bella have been childhood sweethearts up until now. They though they had their future plans laid out before them, which eventually included marriage and even kids. And when Edward finally gets a big break in a movie, the two jump at the opportunity to send him to LA, where he can shoot the film and achieve their dreams. What neither, especially Bella, didn't account for was fame - something that Edward got lost in after his movie. When he came back to Bella, gone was the once sweet and caring Edward. Before her stood an arrogant a** who was doing nothing but showing off his pride over the fame he got doing one movie. She didn't realize when and how their dreams became just his, and when she was faded away from his future plans. Will she be able to bring Edward back to his original self or will it take something else for him to re-open his eyes?

Fame is a wonderfully written story and is depicted very realistically. I bet there are so many actors out today that have gone astray with the glory of fame in their face, and BlueisSoul really makes that come live in the form of our favorite Twilight characters. I will admit, there are times in the story when you dislike the Edward that comes back after the movie, because his pride has gone way beyond the norm, making him seem extremely arrogant. But deep down, we all know that the Edward Bella loves is somewhere in there, just lost in all the camera lights. The journey of Edward falling and realizing that without his true love by his side, his life is really incomplete, is phenomenal and there is no doubt that you will fall in love with this story just as much as I have. A little bit of patience is required in this fanfic as you see Edward's transformation from a dreamy boyfriend, to an arrogant actor, and finally a perfect combination of the two. But the story is definitely a HEA and you should give it a shot!

Fame consists of 23 chapters and a total of 62,266 words. The story is rated M for language and some sexual content.

"Washed Away" by Emotion Masen 2

Posted by
(banner made by Mina)

Edward Cullen is a rich actor who prefers to live his life at his own island in peace. Without the paps and the fast city life in the way, he enjoys himself in his huge house surrounded by the ocean. And despite the distance from the real world, he is able to balance his work life perfectly. Edward couldn't be more content in his life, until one day when he happens to go out for a walk on the shore with his dog Jake, he finds a beautiful brunette washed up on his island. He is able to bring her back to consciousness with CPR, but is shocked when she appears to have no memory of her life whatsoever. Not wanting to stress her further, he carries her into his house and allows her to rest there until she is well enough to figure out her identity. With an Isabella tattoo around her wrist and a few bruise marks around her neck, the only thing they can figure out in the beginning is her name and that someone tried to kill her. How long will it be before Bella's memory triggers back? Will the couple form a bubble that they won't want Bella's past to break?

Washed Away is a great drabble fic that manages to capture your interest with the unique plot line immediately. Emotion Masen is able to really take you by surprise by the events that unfold during the entire story. What I absolutely loved in this story were the characters - especially Edward. He is the most sweetest person you could ever meet in spite of being a famous actor. His patience combined with his humbling nature is something everyone wants in a man! He is more than supportive of Bella and is willing to take everything - from her memory to their relationship - step by step. And Bella is a pretty strong character herself; the bruises and daily nightmares make one thing certain: she was being abused by a man and thrown away into the waters to die before being washed up on Edward's island. Although she is afraid to find out what her past may be, she knows that she will be able to face anything as long as her saviors, Edward and his dog Jake, were with her. It's a great love story that won't take long to finish! So do give it a try!

Washed Away consists of 205 chapters and a total of 89,950 words. The story is rated M for some foul language and sexual content.

"Bird Girl"by TheQueenWriter 0

Posted by
(banner made by Jaime)

Bella Swan was born and raised in a small town, and has never been one for relationships. Her main priority is maintaining her successful businesses with her best friend Alice, who's completely obsessed with British actor Edward Cullen. Alice can't stop talking about the handsome actor after having read online rumors about him being in the area for filming. While Alice continues this way, Bella grows increasingly irritated of hearing all about the Hollywood heartthrob. So she decides to take matters into her own hands and plans to arrange a private meeting for Alice with Edward. However, her plans turn out to be unsuccessful after Alice meets Jasper—who Alice believes is her soul mate.

For Edward Cullen, being surrounded by people who only want to be around him for his celebrity status and being set up with other actresses for promotional gain is nothing new. But he’s growing tired of the fake relationships and wants to find a deeper connection with another person, much like his parents'. Having left Los Angeles to do some filming in Forks, he meets Alice while getting coffee. He's left with the impression that she's just another star-struck girl. Though he remains polite to anyone who approaches him, his outlook changes when he meets Bella—the one girl who doesn't seem to care about who he is and isn't afraid to flip him the bird. What he didn't expect is for Bella to continuously ignore him until she does give in to her desires. After being with disrespectful men time and time again, will she be able to completely open up to Edward and take a chance on love?

I should start by saying that Bird Girl is a slow burn, though it does have a happily-ever-after. When I first started reading this story, I wasn't quite sure where TheQueenWriter was going with the plot, but I couldn't have disappointed with how things came out in the end. Bird Girl isn’t told in just Bella’s and Edward’s point of view, there are some parts told from Alice’s and Jasper’s as well. In this story, Bella is a very closed person—as she's used to being used and hurt by men—and depends emotionally on Alice's support (to an extent, of course). Having read my fair share of Actorward fics, I was pleasantly surprised to see how TheQueenWriter portrayed this Edward: a genuine and honest man that captured my heart. For some, 43 chapters may seem like a lot but they fly by. I have truly enjoyed reading Bird Girl and can include it in my list of favorite fics.
Bird Girl consists of 43 chapters and 117,622 words. It's rated M for foul language and sexual content.

"True Confessions of a Coffee Girl" by Deebelle1 (guest review by Gabriela) 0

Posted by
(banner made by time_lights)

Bella Swan is a music major at California State University, working at a coffee shop in Northridge, CA, Being a barista for three years has allowed Bella to meet numerous celebrities and share her passion for coffee with them. Actor Edward Cullen is no different - he even declared her signature cafe au lait to be the best cup of coffee he's ever had (including Esme's, his mother) - until he says that he'll marry her one day. Sure, Bella's had her fair share of celebrity coffee lovers come in and out of the shop's doors but none of them became regulars, something which made every day more interesting than the last. Edward's different though... He visits the coffee shop whenever he's in town and has time, even taking Esme with him once. It's no surprise when he finally begins to act on his attraction to Bella and asks her out on a date.

Dating Edward Cullen is no small feat, and there are many difficult things to deal with: paparazzi, crazy fans, and Edward's malicious younger sister Alice Cullen. Alice thinks she has her family fooled - including her husband - and regularly spills details to the paparazzi about Edward's whereabouts. That is until she is eventually caught by someone who uses her indescretions to blackmail her. Alice is forced to try and split Edward and Bella up so that her blackmailer can have handsome Hollywood hunk for herself. Unfortunately, she has limited success as Bella is too persistent and doesn't back that easily. So Edward's sister has to come up with the big guns...

True Confessions of a Coffee Girl is written entirely from Bella's point of view. It's a smooth-paced story where the characters really do get to know one another before anything more happens. Don't expect them to be in love with each other by the fifth chapter - it is a slow burn. There are twists and turns in the plot that contains minimal angst. It's well-written and draws you in easily, especially with how relatable the characters are. I absolutely loved this story! I couldn't help but love this Actorward and all of his quirks. The lemons in this fanfic are sweet, but hot, and will leave you wanting for more. This fic flies by, the deeper it pulls you in and is a definite MUST read!

True Confessions of a Coffee Girl I consists of 38 chapters and 98,772 words. The story is rated M for sexual content and language.

"Mise-en-Place" by callmepagliacci 0

Posted by
(banner made by Bethany)

Edward Cullen is a famous and upcoming actor, who takes pride in his success. Though there were serious reasons behind his choice of pursuing an acting career, he enjoys it nonetheless. And by enjoying, I mean living the elite life of a typical rich actor: he likes spending his money on whatever he wishes and, most of all, entertains himself by having a new pretty actress on arm every week. However, in spite of having women willingly falling to his feet, Edward cannot seem to find the right one, or so he thinks. There is a particular beautiful lady in his life, who has stood by him through thick and thin: his personal chef and friend Bella Swan. Bella has worked for Edward for years and has developed feelings for him that just won't go away - worse even, these feelings are not reciprocated by Edward. Bella tries everything in her power to suppress the emotions she harbors for her boss in the hopes of getting her heart broken. She loses herself in creating a wide variety of delicious dishes for Edward and uses them as a way to pour out her love for him. Meanwhile, she has to watch woman after woman entering Edward's life until finally - finally - he begins to notice her. Unfortunately, Bella doesn't know if she can trust him enough to place her heart right into his palm...

Mise-en-Place is an amazing short story; one that you will most probably finish reading in a single sitting. Although short, the fanfiction presents you with a great plot that is absolutely unique. The entire story is written from Bella's perspective but that doesn't stop the author from relaying Edward's feelings for the readers to understand. Right from the second chapter, we know that Bella is the only one that knows the real Edward, the one that is caring and sweet, not the one that is the famous actor. Although Edward is by no means letting the fame he is surrounded with get to his head, he has a very unique way of looking at things, one that makes him a very particular character.
This story will have you hooked from chapter one! In fact, I think this story is one of the most attention grabbing I have ever come across; it opens with a dialogue that, right then and there, has the reader hooked. I was hesitant to read this story at first, since it was pretty short, but I must say that I absolutely haven't regretted it! The best part about the fanfiction is that the author includes a small recipe at the beginning of each chapter, and it's most definitely accurate! So you cooking fans out there will also get fourteen different and professional dishes that you can make and indulge in :). This is a perfect fic to read if you are looking for something that has close to no angst and steals your heart away at the same time! Do give it a try!

Mise-en-Place contains 14 chapters and a total of 29,170 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual references.

"Ask Me Anything" by Edward's Eternal 1

Posted by
(banner made by Mina)

Edward Cullen is a Hollywood heartthrob and about to head to an interview for Faces magazine. They just named him the "Most Interesting Celebrity and Sexiest Male Face" and would now like to write a feature story about him. Unfortunately, Edward doesn't do interviews, in fact, he hates all things superficial. So when his assistant Emmett somewhat forces him into an interview with Alice Whitlock from Faces, he is everything but pleased. Meanwhile, Faces' investigative reporter Bella Swan has no idea how to conduct an interview. She rather enjoys doing thorough research before writing insightful articles and keeps a safe distance from all things even remotely related to the entertainment section of the mag. Therefore, Bella is far from happy when her friend Alice goes into early labor and is unable to meet with Edward Cullen, asking Bella to cover for her instead. Bella, however, has no idea who Edward actually is and is terrified of the mere thought of chatting with this well-known actor: “I talk. I write. I don’t…chat.” But at the insistence of her boss Rosalie, Bella has no other choice but to meet with the Hollywood heartthrob and prays to God she doesn't mess it up...

When Edward walks into the room where he is supposed to meet the journalist for the interview, he sees a sleeping Bella lying on the couch. From then on, things get crazy as, somehow, both of them end up on the ground, with a shocked Bella on top of Edward. What follows is an interview that neither of them will ever forget. Both are completely enthralled with the other and don’t want to let each other go. Forgoing the traditional question-and-answer interview method, the two sit down and actually have a real conversation. They quickly grow attached to each other and can’t stand the thought of not seeing each other again. When Bella’s article is finally released and Edward’s filming is over, will they part ways? Or will their feelings be enough to pull them closer?

Edward’s Eternal is one of the Twilight fandom’s most well-respected authors. Her writing is precise and easy to read, her characters are well-developed, and her plots never fail to impress. Though Ask Me Anything is just a two-shot, it’s incredibly satisfying and entertaining. It’s hard enough to resist Edward as a heartthrob, but couple that with an absolutely adorable Bella, and we have ourselves a winner. Personally, I find finding the perfect short story something that is very difficult because I’m usually left wanting more and feeling like there’s just so much of the story left to be told. And even though Ask Me Anything also leaves me wanting more - I would read more in a heartbeat -  I still feel like the story is a neat piece of work and the author has done the characters justice. Ask Me Anything is cute, interesting, and definitely worth the read!

Ask Me Anything consists of 2 chapters and a total of 8,841 words. The story is rated for  lemons and some coarse language.

"Mrs Edward Cullen" by Zosie 0

Posted by
(banner made by Bethany)

British actor Edward Cullen is struggling in his job of choice. Despite the many movies he has done so far in his career, he is still not getting any offers for major blockbusters. So in order to be able to climb higher on the ladder of success, he decides to try his luck in the United States - the land where everything is possible. Unfortunately, for him to move to the U.S. and start a career in Hollywood, he needs to be a permanent resident with a work permit; something that he'll only get if he either has been been living in the States for a steady six years, has won himself a green card in the lottery, or has gotten married to an American woman. And as Edward doesn't want to waste six years of his career doing nothing, and luck is not on his side, he decides to take the short and easy way out: marry a U.S. citizen. With the help of his current girlfriend Rosalie and his parents, Edward is able to contact a certain Ms. Isabella Swan. He learns that she is in desperate need of money to finish her college education and makes her an offer...

For Edward, money has never been an issue. Even if he hadn't done successful movies in his past, he'd still have enough money to last a lifetime. So with that in mind, he offers to give Ms. Swan money for marrying. This way, he gets his green card and will be able to make a name of himself in Hollywood. In exchange, Bella would be able to pay her tuiton fees. Both of them would be getting what they want, so nothing could go wrong... right? Needless to say, things definitely do not go as planned. When Edward and Bella first see each other, it is their wedding day and despite being skeptic about their future better half, they can't help but feel a strong electric current flowing between them. Unexpectedly, their fake marriage actually feels...right and it doesn't take long until Bella starts falling for her handsome British husband. She is utterly jealous that he shares his bed with Rosalie and wants to scream at her for stealing him from her. Fortunately for Bella, she witnesses Rosalie cheating on Edward only a few days later and thinks that now he can finally be hers. But alas, Edward is so devastated that Rose left that he takes out his frustrations on Bella - a.k.a. comfort sex. Will he be able to realize that Bella is the one for him or will he always just see her as a means to an end?

Mrs Edward Cullen is an amazing fanfiction with a very interesting storyline! A contractual marriage is always something that piques a reader's interest, especially when it comes to our Edward and Bella - two strangers who want to marry each other for their own respective benefits but end up falling for one another, hard. The main problem these two face? Time. Although they realize that what is going on between them is something very intense, the reader can sense a lot of hesitation in both of them, but especially Edward. They are simply scared of their feelings and honestly, who wouldn't be if they were in the same situation? They have so many obstacles in the way of their happiness, from Edward's haphazard career as an actor to Bella's future and her education, that it is close to impossible for them not to freak out. Generally, it needs to be said that all that drama really makes the story very realistic - real life isn't all blue skies, after all. But have faith folks, the story is definitely a HEA - and very sweet one at that!
Mrs Edward Cullen consists of 30 chapters and a total of 119,782 words. The story is rated M for language and sexual activities.

"Easy as Pie" by Edward's Eternal 1

Posted by
(banner made by Valentine)

Edward Masen is a talented actor with a very successful career. He is admired and desired by many and has everything he could possibly want. So, why is he so eager to escape from the life many dream of having? Well, because what people say is true: money and fame can’t buy you happiness, and Edward is not happy at all. That’s why one night, he makes a run for it, avoiding his overbearing manager and the annoying paparazzi. He escapes the hotel and finds himself making a "right" turn, which leads him to a mom-and-pop diner. There, a nice and pretty waitress catches his attention. Bella Swan, a.k.a. Little Bell, is a hard working girl with a talent for making pies, a dessert that Edward is very eager to try in all the flavors she can make. A friendship is established when Edward realizes he doesn't have money to pay for the pies he ate and leaves his most prized possession as a guarantee that he will come back the next day to settle his tab. Day after day, he returns to the same diner, enjoying the talk and getting to know Little Bell, and soon he realizes that his attraction for the simple and sweet girl is more than he could ever phantom.

Love is a strong feeling, and Edward succumbs to it with an open heart. Afraid his profession might get in the way, he makes plans to stay near Little Bell, but someone isn’t keen to have one of the most successful actors out of their clutches. Trust is placed in the wrong people and Edward soon realizes that his chance to tell his Little Bell he loves her is gone. He returns to Hollywood broken hearted and alone, thinking that the one woman that he had ever shown his true colors to doesn’t want him… or does she? Edward will not go down without a fight because he knows now that finding happiness can really be as easy as pie.

This is a short story written by the talented Edward’s Eternal, completely told in Edward’s point of view. From the first chapter you can tell the poor man is stressed out of his mind and the love he once felt for his craft is almost completely gone thanks to the pressure of Hollywood and his manager. He doesn’t even have a small circle of friends; only the director of his current project, Carlisle Cullen, and his wife, Esme, are the only ones that have gained Edward’s confidence. So, it comes as no surprise when he takes a chance to escape from it all for just a little bit. Honestly, we don’t wanna spoil the ending for you, so we won't say much more. This story hooked us from the start and we loved every single chapter. We laughed, we cooed, we cried, we cursed (Annie even threatened to remove Edward’s balls, while Mel wanted to rip out certain bitch’s hair) and in the end we cheered when Edward gets his Little Bell back.Go check out this story, it’s a short ride, but worth every moment.

Easy as Pie consists of 7 chapters and 27,565 words. The story is rated M for descriptive sexual activities and foul language.

"Sexy Silk" by jlho 0

(banner made by Typokween)

So, why is Bella Swan doing a job which makes her want to gag? Oh, that's right, because she has a list of future goals and this job is a necessary stepping stone to achieve them. Bella works as a PA for Tanya and her husband's A-list celebrity stylist company and on the morning of the Golden Globes, finds herself immersed in a day full of craziness. Her task is to help Alice, her best friend and also one of the top three stylists on the team, to get all the individual outfits for the Hollywood stars situated; making sure that everything is going smoothly with their deliveries. Unfortunately, that means that Bella has to take said outfits to some of the celebs, including an Armani suit for actor Edward Cullen. She is annoyed by his arrogant and demanding attitude but cannot get over how hot and sexy he is. So it comes both as a surprise and shock to her when she enters Edward's bedroom to leave the suit there and is immediately pushed against a wall...

For the past four years, Edward has never been able to get Bella off his mind, even though he has never been able to figure out why. Now, however, it begins to dawn on him: he is simply addicted to this woman. After their passionate quickie in his bedroom, Edward puts Bella's pair of panties into his suit pocket and takes off to the Golden Globes. Bella is shocked and slightly annoyed but can't help and feel aroused by his actions. It's the first of many sexy moments between the two, that are topped off by their hilarious banters. But Bella is unsure of Edward's intentions towards her, since, after all, he is an A list Actor, whose presence in her life would definitely come with a price. Why does he send her tulips and what pictures does he want blown up all over his room? How will they face it when press comes to shove?

Hillariously sexy, that perfectly describes Sexy Silk! Ladies, get out your fans, because you are either going to have to be cooling off to steamy lemons, or will be fanning away laughing tears! Bella is a feisty one is this fic, and it's absolutely funny to meet a few of her, well, let's just call them "very close friends". And of course you will more than swoon over the most wanted man in Hollywood, a.k.a. yours truly, Edward Cullen. If you are feeling up for a good laugh, an easy read, and a sexy romance story, Sexy Silk is highly recommendable. It provides you with enough drama to be hooked but is totally angst-free, so don't worry. Don't miss out on this hilarious fanfic written completely from Bella's POV.

Sexy Silk is rated M for foul language, adult topics, and sexy lemons. It consists of 170,897 words and is 28 chapters. Outtakes can be found here.

Independent and assertive costume designer Bella Swan has a fantasy, and now she is faced with the opportunity to make it a reality. Because cocky and talented actor Edward Cullen is more than willing and happy to oblige. No strings, no obligations, no shame. Though the heart stopping rendezvous they have only ends with a spar of words and a simple thank you, Hollywood lets them cross paths again months later. A self imposed challenge ignites a spark, but soon the tables will be turned. Fortune favors the bold, but how far will these two take it for the grand prize? Glycerine is sweet, clear, odorless and harmless, unless mixed with the wrong ingredients, or in this case, two very headstrong individuals. Will the highly combustible mixture of lust and love survive or create an explosion that will destroy them both?

One of the things we loved about Glycerine was the way it was written. Third-person was hard for us to read, we were accustomed to only read stories told by a first-person narrator, but this story was worth it. The author’s writing is concise and clear, it was easy to notice the change of voice from Bella to Edward. It was an interesting back and forward and it added another brilliant element to this story. Livie79 took us through a journey of lust, romance, heartache, drama, and all of it placed right smack in the middle of Hollywood’s distorted lifestyle, where fame and success is everything at whatever the cost.

For the first time we felt a connection with all the characters. Whether it was love, anger, pride, or disappointment, we could relate to all of the emotions described. We have always felt the connection with the main characters in other stories, but this time the writing opened our eyes and made us focus on the supporting characters as well; completely forgetting about the narrator. Because these characters were simply amazing as they all represent the polar opposites that are the lives of Edward and Bella, yet fit seamlessly into the main story, which shows that the author had put as much thought into them as she did with the main characters. Much like in real life, everyone has a story, and all these stories merge seamlessly, giving us a very dynamic tale with a solid plot. It was an amazing experience for us. The main characters are so different yet so similar in some way. Both of theirs lives and pasts are discovered layer by layer, and you can’t help but keep clicking the next chapter button because you are dying to know all about it! And in this story was also the first time that we felt so much hate for one character we never thought we would be able to hate - but that just shows how brilliant this fanfiction is as it invokes such feeling from us.

We just can’t stop singing our praises, really! Go check out this story now, you’ll probably go through several bottles of booze, boxes of tissues and pints of ice cream, but the ride is completely worth it. You won’t regret it!

Glycerine consists of 25 chapters and 193,891 words. The story is rated M for adult language and extremely hot sexual activities.

"Suddenly" by LyricalKris 0

(banner made by Jaime)

Edward Cullen is a 36 year old actor and pretty much has it all: fame, fortune, talent, charisma, a big fan base and no lack of lady companionship, even though he always acts like a gentleman. Yet still he finds himself feeling dispassionate about what he does - not to mention life in general. His friends affectionately call him an "asshole", and even though they love Edward to death, that name actually suits him well. So it is one of his friends, Garrett, who suggests a “reset” of sorts: a vacation away from the Hollywood life to hopefully help him find what he had lost. Little did Edward know that he was going to find that passion in the least likely of places, or should we say, of people? Enter Bella Swan, 18-year-old senior high school student, just coming into her own after a bad breakup, and last but not least, the niece of Edward’s sister-in-law, Rosalie. He was always larger than life to her. She was always just a child on the edge of his horizon. For both, love was a silly game other people played, until it wasn't.

This fan fiction touches the "forbidden love" subject beautifully. You will experience the struggle both Bella and Edward face when they realize that their feelings for each other have changed from platonic and familial to something more. They always had this special connection, but it isn't until Edward returns after several years of being gone that everyone begins to question the nature of that connection and the feelings involved. He is the first one to realize what is going on and he tries to push Bella away, but things don’t always work out the way we plan them and soon Edward finds himself going back to her. The Edward in "Suddenly" knows very well what he risks by starting a relationship with someone so young, so he makes the effort to support Bella. Bella on the other hand, as any young girl her age, has her insecurities and is even bullied at school, once her relationship with Edward hits the national news. Classmate throw slurs at her at school and the paparazzi paint her a gold digging slut on the tabloids. But she takes it all with grace and her head held high, even though she still can’t help but shed a few tears at night.

This story is told in both Bella and Edward’s point of view and it is loosely inspired by the musical Gigi. Like all of LyricalKris’ stories, the romance is always present as Edward and Bella’s relationship blooms, but we all know that drama and angst are just around the corner. However, we have to give her some credit because said drama and angst don't really last long. They face a few roadblocks - even a couple from family members - but both Edward and Bella pull through and like in every story by this author, you will have a happily ever after. We loved this fan fictions so much and we had been dying to review it. Now that it’s complete with the promise of an outtake, we wanted to encourage everyone else to read. Trust us, you won’t regret it!

Suddenly consists of 29 chapters and a total of 54,848 words. The story is rated M for sexual situations and adult language.

"Stage Play" by Bellaward1105 0

Posted by Anonymous

Edward Cullen knows what he wants: her. For what seems like forever the teenager has adored his class mate Bella Swan from afar. From the moment the young girl from Phoenix, AZ stepped into his life, he knew that she was it for him. Her porcelain skin and long brown hair lured him in just as much as her intelligence and wit. She was everything he could ever hope for in a woman... and she had no idea. Because fear prevented him from asking the girl of his dreams out, Edward had no chance but watch her secretly and enjoy the moments they spent together as lab partners. Who knew that a 400-year-old dead guy would change that miserable situation of his?

Mrs. Carter, Edward and Bella's English teacher comes up with a brilliant idea. Her students are supposed to form groups before discussing how to adapt William Shakespeare's renowned play "Romeo & Juliet". And as those who decide to write an actual stage play are guaranteed a nice A, it comes as no surprise that Edward's group plans exactly that. So together with Alice and Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper, Angela and Ben, the twins George and Fred (*cough* Harry Potter *cough*), and Bella he dives head into collecting ideas. The result is a modern version of "Romeo & Juliet" or rather "Edward & Bella" as these two will be the lead actors. For weeks the group works hard to perfect their very own play and it is during that time that Edward realizes two things: one, he is madly in love with Bella Swan; two: he would use the performance of their play to actually show her how much...

So sweet! That's exactly what describes this wonderful story by Bellaward1105 best. Even though the fanfic doesn't contain any sexualized content (even the kiss between the two is chaste), Stage Play will leave you with a great smile on your face. You might even feel the need to let out a loud sigh, it's that romantic! Edward is every girl's dream boyfriend as his love for Bella is really all-consuming. The supporting characters fit well into the story, with Alice and Emmett definitely standing out the most! If you're in need for some innocent and fluffy High School romance, Stage Play is a must-read for you!

Stage Play is a one-shot and consists of 13,378 words. The story is rated T and thus suitable for readers age 13 and older.

"Faking It" by spangly9 2

Bad boy Edward Cullen thought he had everything perfectly laid out: he had decided to give acting a try despite having graduated with a pre-med degree from U-Dub and much to his surprise he was extremely successful. He soon developed a passion for acting and realized that he even had a certain talent. Unfortunately though, somewhere along the path of fame, money, and bad company, Edward got into the line of extreme partying and more than rude behavior. That made him to be "too much effort" for many producers and directors, even though they acknowledged his talent. On the flip side of the coin is Bella Swan, America's dream-girl and lead singer of a popular upcoming band - Eclipse. Unlike Edward, the young woman wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth and along with her best friends Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper she is working arduously to bring her band to success.

And now it happens that both publicists of Edward and Bella know each other well from high school. They suggest to their protegés to fake a romantic relationship and become THE couple in Hollywood. Because then Edward would finally be considered "tamed" by a woman (and by a perfect one nonetheless) and movie deals would start coming back in again. Bella, on the other hand, would benefit from the lie as well, as being around Edward would most probably increase Eclipse's popularity immensely. Maybe she could even start a career in Hollywood. Though hesitant at first, Edward and Bella eventually agree to the arrangement. Supported by Bella's band mates and Edward's sister Alice the two set off on dates, always making sure that they can be well seen by the paparazzi. The actor and the musician don't think the best about each other which results in a horrible first date. Yet as they start to learn more about the other, they get closer and closer. What is supposed to be a mere act quickly turns into something neither one of them has experienced before and soon their fake relationship becomes real. Could Bella be Edward's wake up call? And how will they be able to balance their love with the constricted Hollywood world where paparazzi stalk them wherever they go?

Faking It is an amazing story set in Hollywood, LA and spangly9 manages to elicit lots of emotions from you while reading. It is touching to see Edward's future slipping right out of his own hands and how Bella comes along to help him straighten out his life. The chemistry and tension between the two is continuous and you will find yourself begging them to get it on already. The fanfiction has it's hot and romantic moments, but there is also quite a bit of humor involved as well as an interesting glimpse at Hollywood's connection to the fashion industry. I loved this story a lot and my favorite part about it was noticing how Edward changed for the better and came out of his hell-hole with the help of Bella. All it took was love for both of them to realize that life can be beautiful and worth-living with your partner by your side. I really enjoyed reading this story and have no doubts you will too!

Faking It consists of 32 chapters and 144,679 words. The fanfic is rated M for language and lemons.

"Reel Life" by SpecialK199 1

Doing press junkets is definitely not Edward Cullen's favorite pastime. Over and over again, he has to answer the same boring questions, smile even though he feels pretty tired, and ignore all the not so subtle sexual innuendoes coming from the female journalists. But job is job and so Edward endures the torture that just won't seem to end. When the press agent finally tells him that there is only one journalist left the 30-year old actor sees the light behind the tunnel. In walks a beautiful brunette who neither wants to jump him right there nor seems to be too fazed by having to interview the "Sexiest Man Alive". Edward soon finds out that Bella, the refreshing and stunning woman sitting right opposite him, is actually just substituting for a friend. Their conversation flows easily and Edward feels like he's talking to an old aquaintance, a confidant even, instead of a journalist who will write a page-long article about him.

Because his brother Emmett and sister-in-law Rose notice that something is on his mind Edward confesses that he just can't get the brunette journalist out of his head. After lot's of coaxing from Rosalie (and after having run into Bella again in a grocery store) he finally makes a few calls to get Bella's phone number. To say that she is surprised to be called by the hottest actor walking this earth would be an understatement. After having told every single detail of her meeting with Edward to her best friend Angela Bella has difficulties thinking about anything else. That she, 5'3'' of ordinariness, is called by Edward Cullen is as overwhelming as it is exhilarating! The two meet for coffee and soon start going on dates. The moment their lips meet for the first time they both realize three things: one, this is a lot more than just a casual fling; two, as Edward shares his home with Emmett and Rose and Bella lives with Angela there is no private place for them to... you know; and three: dating a movie star is far from being romantic.

SpecialK199 manages to realistically portray the life of a movie star. Edward is, both in appearance and character, very similar to Rob and thus very likable! He is shy, modest, and charming, and loves Bella the moment he lays eyes on her (even though he might not know that at the time). Once they finally (!) manage to have their wicked way with each other in Bella's new apartment, the two are going at it like bunnies. That said, don't expect graphic lemons - a lot of things are only implied or hinted at. What made me enjoy this story so much is mainly that all character have an incredible sense of humor. Rose is wonderful, especially when interacting with Emmett. She sees right through her brother in law and plays cupid more than once. Angela is... hilarious. Whether almost "dying" from a cold or making sure that Bella has a ladies night once Edward is gone shooting a movie, this girl is just like every best girlfriend should be. A wonderful story that will make you smile!

Reel Life consists of 21 chapters and 121,834 words. The story is rated M for language and lemons.

"Help Wanted" by jaxon22 2

Posted by Anonymous

Bella Swan has the opportunity of a lifetime: she could become the personal assistant of none other than Hollywood beau Edward Cullen. When she's up for her job interview, however, things look everything but rosy. Question after question is fired in her direction and when Bella leaves the room she's absolutely sure that she had just ruined her future career. With her eyes on the ground and thoughts miles away, she trips over the carpet and lands right on her cute behind. And who's helping her up? Yes, of course...

And then the unthinkable happens, Bella gets the job - and has to start working right away. She's invited to the set of Edward's new movie, directed by his father Carlisle. Shown around by Edward's sister and make-up artist Alice, Bella soon feels like she's in the middle of a perfect dream: Academy Award winners shake her hand and women looking like they just stepped out of a Vogue magazine cover greet her with a smile. But not everyone is that welcoming. Edward is rather reserved towards Bella, keeps his distance and rarely looks or talks to her. Things change, however, when Edward gets sick and Bella has to care for him in his house. Soon, she not only finds herself helping him learn his lines (and practice kissing) but also gets to know his closest friends a lot better. Yet is isn't until a slimie bad boy named James tries to come a little bit too close to Bella, that Edward finally acts on his feelings...

You will need a lot of time to complete reading Help Wanted. With over 600,000 words the story is like a huge tome of fanfiction. The chapters are really long but because of the interesting plot the reader is hardly aware of that. Both the main and supporting characters are very well developed and the fact that the story is written from Edward's AND Bella's perspectives is helpful for the reader to understand certain behaviors/decisions a lot better. Edward, for example, will, in the beginning, look like a cold and arrogant bastard but once you see his side of the coin, you'll understand that he's only lonely and rather careful and skeptical towards new aquaintances. Of course, the latter, eventually results in a lot of UST! But, let me tell you, once he finally listens to his heart, the two make good use of that sexual energy! Another great story of jaxon22!

Help Wanted consists of 64 chapters and 607,440 words. Five outtakes to the fanfic can be found here. The story is rated MA for language and adult situations.
