Edward Cullen and Bella Swan first meet each other when they are in college. Their attraction towards each other is immediate and before long, they are deeply in love with. Edward promises Bella a happily ever after for their future together but unfortunately things don't go as planned. Fate turns their lives upside down when Edward makes the biggest mistake in his life on his wedding day and leaves his fiance. To say Bella is devastated would be an understatement! But after four years, destiny brings them face to face once again. After spending so much time apart, Edward convinces Bella to move back to their hometown so they could get to know each other again and talk about the last four years. Though it's difficult for them to pick up where they left off, both know that they are still very much in love with each other. One by one, the reason for the break-up on their wedding day is revealed and Edward finds himself in a shock as he notices that Bella is not alone, but she's not with anyone else either...

I've probably read this fic ten times now and considering that it is tpec1991's very first fanfiction, it is really good! The story is structured really well in that it is entirely written from Edward's point of view. That means that all of the past events that lead up to the break-up as well as the many happy moments they have spent together are depicted through Edward's memories. Even though I don't like relationship angst, this story had me hooked! It is all about healing and forgiving each other in a relationship and I love it so much that I can't find enough words for it! In fact, I have cried during every chapter, it is so emotional. It's also important to state that One More Chance is cheat-free, i.e. Edward and Bella are faithful to each other. I think everyone should read it and give it a try, I promise it won't disappoint! Oh, and it also has a sequel which is a WIP and called You And Me, so look forward to reading that as well!

One More Chance consists of 41 chapters and 361,389 words. The story is rated M for language, non-consensual sex and criminal use of rape drug (overall not too graphic).
