Edward, his brother Emmett, and their best friend Jasper are all members of a cover band, called 'The Feedback'. One night, when they meet at the bar they usually play at, the three come to an agreement that will hopefully push their career in the right direction. In order to be able to play three nights a week, they definitely need a female lead singer. Problem. Edward Cullen cannot keep his hands to himself and has already cost the band three potential lead singers due to his womanizing ways. Emmett and Jasper have finally enough and decide to establish the rule that there is absolutely no inter-band screwing, dating or messing around allowed. This rule applies to all three of them but seeing as Jasper's sister Rosalie has Emmett by the balls and Jasper is pining for Alice, said rule is basically just for Edward...

Now that the ground rules have been established, Jasper wants Bella, a friend from college, to join the band. Of course, Edward and Bella feel an attraction to each other - even though they start out on the wrong foot - but a relationship is totally off limits due to the ‘band rule’. A friendship is formed from their mutual love of music and soon blossoms into a love. Love not even Edward ‘Womanizer’ Cullen can deny.

lexiecullen17 does not disappoint with her story of forbidden love between band members. The fanfiction is told from both Edward and Bella’s POV and gives great insight into how both characters are feeling and thinking in each situation. With dozens of hilarious scenes, hot juicy lemons, and hilarious banters between the band members, this story is all fluff with very little angst. One of the best things about this story is its ‘kick-ass’ playlist! lexiecullen17 has worked hard to put together a large list of songs that not only suit the story incredibly well, but will have you singing along with the characters! If you liked her other stories such as The Longest Summer, you’ll definitely enjoy Off Limits. It’s a must read!

Her mission is clear and seemingly simple: make Edward finally notice her as a grown woman rather than just LB ("Little Bella"), the little girl he likes to work with in the video shack. But Bella soon has to realize that her project will turn out to be a lot more difficult than anticipated. Yes, Edward seems to be aware of her impressive body, and charming wit, yet he strongly resists his upcoming feelings. Because to Edward Bella is not just seven years younger than him but also far too good to simply be one of his conquests...

Two words: slow burn. The sexual tension in this story is more than palpable but misunderstandings and stubbornness keep our dear Edward and Bella from doing the deed very early in the story. In the beginning, Edward is totally oblivious to his feelings towards Bella and it will take his calm and collected friend Jasper and his totally crazy yet absolutely lovable sister Tanya to make him see reason. Once he does and his feelings are out in the open, well, let me tell you that it is getting really hot!! Grab an iced tea, sit on the porch or the balcony and enjoy lexicullen17's wonderful summer story - just make sure to hide your blush once you stumble upon a lemon! ; )
