"Kiss Me Now, Kiss Me Never" by ericastwilight 0

A horrifying curse set upon two souls from centuries back still carries on present time in the lives of Edward and Bella. Edward Cullen - when his lips press three times upon another, the person will absolutely loathe him, to the point where they want to kill him. So he never kisses - just f**ks. Bella Swan - all it takes is one kiss from or upon her lips that the person will fall completely in love with her, to the point where they will quit their daily necessities of life and start to die if she does not reciprocate. So Bella Swan never kisses - she just f**ks. When these two set their eyes on each other for the first time, the electricity is immediate. And the sex is the best that they have ever had, but will either of them be able to discover or even want to explore the idea of love from what they have been through? And if so, then how do they possibly go on with the curse lingering around them constantly? Is there a way to break the curse without destroying everyone?

"For one, unrequited love. For the other, all consuming hate. Together, can they break it?"

Kiss Me Now, Kiss Me Never is a superb fic that will have you hooked by its slightly supernatural plot-line! For both Edward and Bella, their curses are unable to make them move forward in life. Edward definitely does not want another person picking up his/her knife after him and Bella does not want another person to lay on their death bed because she can't reciprocate his/her love. The insanity that either of them face is pretty complicated, but you come to terms with why they choose to just have one night stands instead - without the kissing of course. They are both scared to form a commitment, afraid that true love will not last last long in either of their cases. It's really great to see the love develop between Edward and Bella here though, and just like every other ericastwilight fanfic, this too will tug at your heart-strings as they stay together through everything in order to break their curses. Definitely a unique story that is much too underrated for my liking, so go out there and enjoy this masterpiece!

Kiss Me Now, Kiss Me Never consists of 32 chapters and a total of 102,004 words. This AH story is rated M for language and lemons.

At the tender age of nine, Bella Swan started both seeing and hearing the dead, whose those souls are still roaming the Earth because of unfinished business. Whether they seek revenge for an unnatural death or are unable to end the connection they have with important people from their old lives, the souls of the dead that Bella sees cannot seem to find the peace they need to finally leave the world behind. In order to help them find their way, Bella uses her rare gift to communicate with the dead and passes their messages on to their loved ones. Never in her life, did she perceive that her ability to talk with ghosts as anything but a huge liability; something she was never grateful for. Still, she continues helping many lost souls crossing over to the light and finding peace. So with the help of her good and equally gifted friend Alice, she seeks out the renowned Professor Edward Cullen. Bella sees a small girl, not older than eight years, who she soon is able to identify as the professor's daughter. The latter is giving a speech on parapsychology when Bella decides to confront Edward with the fact that his daughter is dead and that she didn't die from natural causes...

Although Edward is skeptic of Bella's abilities, he cannot help but start to believe her once she starts talking about his daughter Hayley. Until then, the professor always thought that his little girl was "only" missing, yet now he is confronted with her violent death. Bella tells him that Hayley cannot speak to her as water comes out of her mouth every time she tries to speak; leaving Edward devastated and broken. Hayley had been his everything despite the fact that she was born at a stage in his life where being a father was far from being on his mind. The connection father and daughter developed was immensely strong and perhaps the reason the little girl was still tied to the Earth - she couldn't leave this world behind knowing her father was hurting so badly. So with the help of Bella, Hayley communicates with her dad and the three start investigating her death. How did she die? A story full of mysteries and questions begins. Revelations are made; yet when the case is finally closed will Edward be able to let go of his daughter? Will Bella's love for him be enough for him to spend the rest of his life happily?

This is a very unique story by ericastwilight, and I say that in a very positive way! Even though MSB usually doesn't review AU stories, some are just too good not to be rec'ed. Ultimately, this story is AH but with a slight supernatural twist. The story is very fast-paced so that, at the end of the first chapter, you will definitely be hooked and eager to learn more. What I love most about this story is the deep connection between Edward and Hayley. They share such a strong bond that even after her death, Hayley stays grounded to Earth, willing to make sure her father isn't suffering. She watches him sleeping in her bed every night and often listens to him whispering words of love. Without ensuring his peace of mind, there is no way she can ever get peace. And when Bella comes along with her amazing ability, she is the link that brings the two of them back together again, at least sort of. She Speaks Fear and Truth is extremely heart-warming and daddyward's grief will surely bring out some tears in your eyes. I promise you that this fanfiction is SO worth the read; don't ignore it just because the summary says it is AU, because the story is a lot more than that. Hats off to ericastwilight for writing such an amazing fanfiction - I really enjoyed it and have no doubts you readers will too!

She Speaks Fear and Truth consists of 14 chapters and a total of 45,467 words. The story is rated M for language, strong emotions, and some sexual references. A sequel is currently being published, Denver Paranormal Society.

"Spinning Bottles" by knicnort3 0

If there was one thing that 18-year-old Edward Masen was absolutely sure of, it would've been his love for Bella Swan. So it isn't surprising that, when he decided to go to business school in New York while Bella remained in the small town of Forks, Washington, he had no doubts that their love would prevail and the two of them would remain the amazing couple that they were.

Twelve years later, however, the once so charming young man has turned into a manwhore extraordinaire and ruthless business man. Edward's busy schedule prevented him from keeping in contact with Bella and the latter eventually stopped calling and texting him... that is, until, one day, the 30-year-old receives a small package from his former girlfriend. Drowing the wine it includes Edward falls asleep in the bed of his expensive New York apartment.

When he wakes up, nothing is like it used to be: instead of in New York, Edward is back in Forks. Instead of designer suits, Edward's closet contains Wall-Mart clothes. Instead of having to face his much despised fiancé Tanya, Bella turns out to be his wife... and the mother of his two children...

This story is the Twilight version of the old movie The Family Man. Edward wakes up to what appears to be an alternative universe in which he stayed in Forks and started a family with Bella. In the beginning Edward tries everything in his power to "wake up" and return to his old life, yet he slowly has to realize that being a father and the husband of the love of his life could be what he really needs and wants. A very entertaining story!

Spinning Bottles consists of 31 chapters and a total of 163,489 words. The story is rated M for description of sexual activities.

"Blind Spot" by FictionFreak95 0

Posted by Anonymous

After Chicago police officer Edward Cullen fails to rescue a young girl from her kidnapper and later loses his brother Garrett by what looks like a mistake on his part, he decides to quit his job. Looking for absolute quietude and a place where no one knows him, he arrives at the small town of Madisonville, Louisiana. There he rents an old house boat and meets a rather snappy, yet beautiful young woman.

Bella Swan inherited a rare and exceptional gift from her mother: she receives visions. Though she can neither control them nor does she always know what they mean, Bella pretty much follows her inner voice and thoughts. When she encounters Edward she notices how broken and tired the young man looks. In order to forget the pain of his past, the former police officer drinks himself into oblivion and reacts rudely to every attempt at friendship or closeness. Yet when Bella has a vision concerning Garrett and a victim of one of Edward's former cases, he has no choice but to face his inner demons.

Blind Spot is amazingly well written. Though this story contains some supernatural aspects it never gets weird or fantastic. Bella's visions are the only thing that give the reader some clue about what happened between Garrett and Edward. Because Bella only sees blurry and incoherent images, questions that inevitably arise within the reader are only answered gradually. That makes this story incredibly exciting and interesting. You're probably not going to be able to stop reading until you reached the end.

Blind Spot consists of 27 chapters and a total of 169,531 words. All characters are human, however the story contains slightly supernatural elements. The fanfiction is rated M for mature content.
