Edward Masen is a talented actor with a very successful career. He is admired and desired by many and has everything he could possibly want. So, why is he so eager to escape from the life many dream of having? Well, because what people say is true: money and fame can’t buy you happiness, and Edward is not happy at all. That’s why one night, he makes a run for it, avoiding his overbearing manager and the annoying paparazzi. He escapes the hotel and finds himself making a "right" turn, which leads him to a mom-and-pop diner. There, a nice and pretty waitress catches his attention. Bella Swan, a.k.a. Little Bell, is a hard working girl with a talent for making pies, a dessert that
Edward is very eager to try in all the flavors she can make. A
friendship is established when Edward realizes he doesn't have money to
pay for the pies he ate and leaves his most prized possession as a
guarantee that he will come back the next day to settle his tab. Day
after day, he returns to the same diner, enjoying the talk and getting
to know Little Bell, and soon he realizes that his attraction for the
simple and sweet girl is more than he could ever phantom.
Love is a strong feeling, and Edward succumbs to it with an open heart.
Afraid his profession might get in the way, he makes plans to stay near
Little Bell, but someone isn’t keen to have one of the most successful
actors out of their clutches. Trust is placed in the wrong people and
Edward soon realizes that his chance to tell his Little Bell he loves
her is gone. He returns to Hollywood broken hearted and alone, thinking
that the one woman that he had ever shown his true colors to doesn’t
want him… or does she? Edward will not go down without a fight because he knows now that finding happiness can really be as easy as pie.
This is a short story written by the talented Edward’s Eternal, completely told in Edward’s point of view. From the first chapter you can tell the poor man is stressed out of his mind and the love he once felt for his craft is almost completely gone thanks to the pressure of Hollywood and his manager. He doesn’t even have a small circle of friends; only the director of his current project, Carlisle Cullen, and his wife, Esme, are the only ones that have gained Edward’s confidence. So, it comes as no surprise when he takes a chance to escape from it all for just a little bit. Honestly, we don’t wanna spoil the ending for you, so we won't say much more. This story hooked us from the start and we loved every single chapter. We laughed, we cooed, we cried, we cursed (Annie even threatened to remove Edward’s balls, while Mel wanted to rip out certain bitch’s hair) and in the end we cheered when Edward gets his Little Bell back.Go check out this story, it’s a short ride, but worth every moment.
Easy as Pie consists of 7 chapters and 27,565 words. The story is rated M for descriptive sexual activities and foul language.
