Bella and Edward have been friends for years when things suddenly change for both of them on Valentine's Day. Driven by an inexplicable urge, Edward leans over the table they sit at and kisses Bella. And instead of pulling back and asking him if he thinks he's crazy, she kisses him right back. The two make their way to Edward's small apartment and one things leads to another. They spend a passionate night together, full of affections, laughter, and... a weird yet strong feeling they both cannot name. The next day, Bella sits with her tight-knit group of friends and accidentally lets it slip that she has had the best sex of her life last night. Multiple times. Alice, Rose, Jazz, and Emmett immediately begin pestering her with questions about who the great guy with the fantastic stamina is, when Edward walks in...

Still, he doesn't say anything to his friends when he sees the panic written all over Bella's face. Because while the beautiful brunette is still confused about her feelings for Edward and what their night together meant, she also is also afraid to lose her best friends if this thing between them doesn't work out. She sees proof of what that can be like with Rosalie and Emmett, who have just ended their relationship and are more than miserable because of that. Hilarious. Funny. Freaking awesome. These adjectives, as telling as they are, don't come even close in describing the wonderful story that is The Best I Ever Had. The conversations between the group, especially those between Edward and Bella, will leave no eye dry, let me tell you. There are animated talks about possible porn names, Edward's cute sunburn, peacocks, and girl poop (Oh yes, you heard right!) and all of them will make your stomach hurt from laughing so much! The main story is told from Bella's POV, while Edward is the one, who describes the night they spent together on Valentine's Day (written in italics). Each chapter you'll learn a bit more about that and reading what Edward has to say about his feelings for Bella will have you swoon. Seriously, they don't make guys like (this) Edward in real life! The lemons this story contains are tame and beautifully written. Though Bella and Edward are both kind of horny all the time (Edward is in LOVE with Bella's boobs, by the way), they take their time before they sleep with each other again. But when it happens it's really sweet and sigh-worthy. Enjoy this TwiFic classic!
