But when she sees the house she would live in as well as the house's owner, Bella is sure that there must have been a misunderstand - because there is no way in hell that she could ever afford this! Not only is the house situated in private (and fairly rich) community but it also has a pool, a balcony (hence the view), a game room, and a theater! To top it off, Bella's prospective tenant, Edward Cullen, looks like he just stepped out of a GQ cover. So when she asks how much she would have to pay for the room, she is surprised to hear that it's only $400 a month. Edward explains to her that, as a sports agent, he is often gone for weeks which is why he would feel better if there was someone who would take care of and "look after" the place. Before she knows it Bella accepts the generous offer and brings her boxes over. But nothing on earth prepared her for seeing her tenant swimming in the pool, meeting his potential lover Emmett, and hearing about the mysterious Rose! Let's get it on!
Perfect, that's all I can say about this story! It is filled with lots of humor, nice lemons, an uberhot Edward, and, probably to the delight of many of you, no angst. Rm w a Vu is mostly written from Bella's perspective. The poor thing is constantly tortured by her parents getting the freak on and loves to mention her therapist here and then. You're eyes won't remain dry when you read about her hilarious assumption that Edward is gay and when she realizes that she just ruined most of his white clothes. And Edward, well what can one say except for, this guy is damn sexy, let me tell you! He's slightly older than Bella but amazingly caring, funny, and agile *grins*. As a former football player this man is packed - in all the right places! So if you like your stories light and funny, I assure you Rm w a Vu will be one of the best stories you've ever come across!

Bella Swan her life was on a good track: she was studying English at the Arizona State University, had a nice boyfriend, and some good friends whom she could rely on. Yet when she arrives back at the dorm apartment she shares with her fellow student Leah after a long day of classes, loud moaning and sighing prevent her from entering. Though situations like that are nothing new for Bella, it definitely shocks her to no end to see Jacob, a.k.a. her boyfriend, opening the door. She quickly gives both him and Leah a tongue-lashing before packing the most essential things and leaving without looking back. So in order to not sleep under a bridge, Bella decides to move back in with her parents, at least temporarily. Yet after she walks in on Charlie and Renee satisfying their growing libido, the young student decides that she is in dire need of her own place. So after grabbing a newspaper and looking over the classified adverts she eventually seems to have found what she was looking for...

I must say this WAS one of my fav stories ever. It's everything you're saying in the beginning. Then, out of nowhere, the author fucked up the story inserting some facts of her personal life, creating some weird drama in a humor fic. It would be nice if she rewrite some things, inserting some drama in the beginning as well, so the readers don't find anything weird as well.
ReplyDeletePersonally I didn't like the end, but some of you might find it angsty. There was a lot of problems with readers reviewing her story and the author deleting the reviews, even the non-flame ones. A friend of mine reviewed her like twice critizing some negative points but not offending her, and she deleted what my friend wrote. I don't know if it was per mistake, but I thought pretty mean.
I love your banners, Mandy.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, sweetie!:D I wish I could add animations like you-but I don't have the right program for that. :/
ReplyDeleteI love/adore/admire both your banners:). I wish I could do that!
