"The Cullen Enterprise" by Amethyst Jackson

Ever since her father Charles Swan had been diagnosed with prostrate cancer, Bella's life has changed irrevocably. As her mother left the family a couple of years earlier, the 20-year-old is left alone with the emotionally draining task of caring for her father. Additionally, her meagre income hardly covers the most important expenses and the debt is getting larger and larger. So when Bella receives an email from one Edward Cullen, who offers her to pay her dues, she is more than shocked...
She contacts the man and agrees to have dinner with him. And though she feels highly attracted to her mysterious savior, she cannot help thinking that his offer might come with a catch. So after Edward tells Bella a little bit about his background and the reason why Cullen Enterprise was founded (his mother Esme died of breast cancer and his uncle began working on a foundation which would help patients and their families in similiar situations) he explains in detail what he is about to offer: to pay all debts without getting anything in return. Well, almost, because the 28-year-old has a second proposal to make. One that has nothing to do with the first but would solve all of Bella's financial troubles...
Amethyst Jackson is a very well-known Twific author and has written dozens of widely successful stories. Most of them, however, feature vampires, werewolves, and hybrids. In fact, The Cullen Enterprise is only the second AH multi-chaptered story Amethyst has ever written. But what a story it is! Edward is an abosolute charming young man, whose proposal to have Bella live with him comes as a complete surprise. Really, totally unexpected! And even though he makes this unconventional offer, Edward is far from being a man whore. Instead, he really only looks for company and wants to see those captivating brown eyes of Bella's every night before falling asleep. Except for one short chapter, the whole story is written from Bella's POV. That makes the plot even more exciting as the reader has no idea what Edward thinks or what his motives might be. Put this fanfiction on story alert, folks, you won't regret it!

"'So, yes,' he began, sounding just a tad defensive, 'I want to pay you
to live with me, spend time with me, and have sex with me. I'd be
willing to pay you a considerable salary...I'll purchase health
insurance for you, and your days will be your own. You can go to school
if you like, look for a job, whatever you want. I just want someone to
come home to.'"
