"Felt" by LayAtHomeMom

What’s that thing they say about teenagers? They’re young, dumb, and full of cum. Crude? Yes. True? Usually. Most of us know what it’s like to be on the verge of adulthood. We love hard and play harder without truly understanding the consequences behind our actions, and it’s that inexperience—that we don’t want to really realize about ourselves—that holds us back. Edward and Bella were a summer romance, separated during the year by distance and doubt and too-immature minds filled with painful words and guarded hearts. Fueled by the power to hurt and the need to feel, their relationship was broken by a misunderstanding and the refusal to communicate. It’s five years later when they find their second chance. Together once again, it only takes a few shots, a rendezvous into the past, and some careful chosen dirty words before Bella is spread out on the pool table with Edward above her and panting. But where does this leave them? Is it the closure they never had or the rekindling of something great?

Felt was
LayAtHomeMom’s entry for the Dirty Talkin’ Edward Twific Contest, and we were
lucky enough to be graced with a two-part continuum. I can’t compare her entry
to the others—because I don’t think I’ve read any of them—but she did deliver in
my opinion because ohemgee this Edward and that mouth. Soap. It needs lots of
soap. I mean seriously. Pant. Pant. Pant. You want a short, smexy read? This story is for you. Dirty
talk is a secret love of mine. Probably because I can’t read it or think it or
say it out loud without feeling incredibly awkward and self-conscious, and oh
my goodness, if you could only see my blush. If there’s one thing to know about
me, it might be that I like to read aloud and act out the characters because
dialogue can be so much fun. Now I dare you to read this sexy out loud. Told
from Bella’s POV, we see mostly her struggle with her acceptance of the
relationship and her own reservations, but we do get a good look into Edward’s side. Even though it has
been five years and they may be a tad bit older and wiser, these two still have
a lot to work out. The original one-shot gives the sexy, but the continuation
gives the story, and thank goodness for that because I seriously don’t know
what I would have done if it had ended with, “So where does this leave us now?”
So here’s the question of the day. Dirty talk…which bit was your favorite or
what would you add?
