Bella Swan lives a pretty content life with her sister Alice and two cousins Jessica and Lauren in the small town of Forks, Washington. Unlike her mother, she didn't have many complaints regarding all of their unmarried lives. Renee Swan was a loud mouth that was adamant on marrying off all her daughters to rich men so that she could be part of the wealthy. Her husband and the their father Charlie Swan could care less about his wife's endless rants and preference of Jessica and Lauren over her real daughters; he preferred to spent time with his own daughters, especially his favorite—Bella. When a certain Jasper Whitlock enters town with his best friend Edward Cullen for the summer, the entire population of Forks go wild over their handsome looks and riches. Unfortunately, both their personalities are stark opposites of each other with Jasper being calm and social, and Edward being the arrogant potty-mouth with a huge ego problem. When Bella and Edward first meet at a social gathering, their first impressions of each other aren't very good; Bella prefers to stay miles away from Edward, especially after the rumors going around about him. But will are the rumors all true? Will Bella be able to come out of all the misunderstandings to see Edward for who he really is?

Yes folks, if you haven't figured it out already, this story follows the same plot line as the famous Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice! Let's admit it—who doesn't want to read about Darcyward?! He is hot, has a foul mouth and appears to be arrogant, but is really a sweetheart. The best part—this story is set in present time, unlike the period that Pride and Prejudice went through, which makes the fanfiction all the more interesting to read through. As all of pattyrose's stories are, this one will also blow your mind away with her great writing style and plot idea. Follow Edward and Bella through this tale full of misconceptions and undying love for one another, along with drama-filled events that will make this story a similar classic to read! This was only pattyrose's second fic, but it is just as hooking to read as all of her other "babies", as she likes to call her stories. Are the troubles of Bella's sister Alice and her cousins Jess and Lauren too much to bear? Will her mother's big mouth ruin everything in their lives before they even start? And most of all, will Edward and Bella be able to have their happy ending despite the misunderstandings that they had? Find out the answers to all of these questions in this mind-blowing tale that is much to underrated!!
