Bella Swan is a successful author, who is being pestered by her mother about settling down and having kids. It also doesn’t help her stress level at all that she is the maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding. Trying to drown out her mother’s annoying words and the nerves from delivering her speech, she drinks a glass of champagne… and then another glass… and then another… and then another more… and suddenly the bottle is gone. By the time she delivers her speech it is a miracle she isn’t slurring it, but at least she caught the attention of three hot guys, right? Bella sets her eyes on the one she calls McHandsome - with his crazy hair and pouty lips and fingers that make her see stars. Yep, at last, the love of Bella's life has come her way - in the form of a one night stand and a little surprise a month later.

This is a very funny story told completely from Bella’s point of view. It focuses on Bella and Edward’s relationship and how they start out as being strangers, who indulge in a one-night-stand, and turn into expecting parents, friends, lovers, and eventually, into a wonderful family. But not everything is as smooth as it sounds! There is a reason why Bella is still single at 28, and her little fear of commitment will make her keep Edward at arms length for a long time - much to the annoyance of her best friends Rosalie and Alice and poor Edward himself. But it all changes when a visit from his mom Elizabeth makes Bella realize that she is just being silly and that, no matter what people think, when you feel it’s right, then it’s right. So they will put their a relationship on a new level and welcome their baby to the world, knowing the love they have for each other is more than enough.
