When Bella Swan arrives at her mini-vacation in Sandstone Cove, her friendly driver Waylon gives her a rather unusual advice: "Be careful, girl. This is the closest thing to paradise I've ever found. You might just decide not to leave." Confused and mildly amused, Bella says goodbye to the old man and makes her way to the reception of the hotel she'll stay at for the rest of the week. After picking up her room keys, freshening up a little, and changing into a nice sun dress, the beautiful brunette walks downstairs to the bar where she meets the hotel's extremely attractive bar keeper. The young man with the bronze hair is charming Bella's pants off - literally - and before she knows it, the two of them spend a passionate night together. Unfortunately, the next morning, Bella panics and is overwhelmed with guilt about what she has done. She slips out of bed and tries to stay away from the great lover whose name she doesn't even know. However, the latter finds her shortly after and introduces himself as Edward. He wants anything but to keep a distance from the beautiful girl he just found and uses the whole repertoire of seduction he has at his disposal to make her stay with him. Days pass and by now Bella hasn't just given up on fighting Edward but she also discovered that she harbors some serious and scary feelings for him. What will happen when her vacation is over? Will she turn her back on Edward and the little paradise they have created together?

cosmogirl7481 is known for writing fanfics that are both angsty and full of lemons. And this is also what you'll find in this little short story of hers. Sandstone Cove is completely written from Bella's POV which allows the reader to understand her fears and conflicting emotions really well. While Edward is willing to give up everything for his beautiful girl, Bella is unable to let herself go due to the responsibilites she has at home. She is utterly in love with the man she meets during her vacation but the burdens she has to carry make her push him away on more than one occasion. Good thing Edward is so passionate and persistent when it comes to her, otherwise she would have lost him before she even got the chance to get close. And close they get: the fic is full of lemony goodness, even though we don't get to read about the actual act. Instead the readers is presented with lots of hot and steamy foreplays. If you haven't read anything by cosmogirl7481 yet, this short story is the perfect way to start. But be careful, you might decide to never stop reading her fanfics! ;-)
