Thirty-year old Bella Swan is living a mundane life far away from her hometown in Forks. Together with Leo, her fuzzball of a cat, she lives in her grandmother's vacation house; unable to deal with her horrible past. Every week, her neighbor Mrs Cope is kind enough to drive her to the nearest Walmart so Bella can buy whatever she needs - and that is, in fact, all she sees of the real world. Bella is fully prepared to continue going on with her 'life' until her self-imposed repentance is finally over - that is, if she ever manages to overcome her guilt. Completely shutting herself from the world also means that she has to only live off of the money that she has saved. Although she runs a blog that relates to her degree, it's non-paying and definitely not something can live off of. And just when she expects it the least, a simple knock on her door changes shakes Bella's world irrevocably. Because right on her doorstep stands a bronze-haired man, dressed in a prisoner suit, with handcuffs on, and a gun in his hand. The cherry on top? He seems to have a gun-shot wound on his side...

Going both against and with her instincts, she allows the prisoner - Edward Cullen - to enter her house and use it as a hideout to escape the searching eyes of the police. Edward explains to Bella that he was falsely convicted of murder and that he refuses to go to jail for a crime he did not commit. And though Bella should more than doubt this beautiful stranger, she somehow finds herself believing every word he says. Maybe also because her cat Leo, who usually hides from people he doesn't know, appears to find Edward's company comforting and as a vet, Bella knows not to doubt an animal's instincts. So with that knowledge in mind, she allows Edward to stay overnight or until the cops go back to Seattle to continue their search there. But fate has other plans for the two of them as Edward gets a severe fever from his gun-shot wound and ends up being nursed by Bella. During the few days that Bella takes care of him, she can't help but feel things she has never felt before. Edward teaches her what love means, and that there is a whole world outside of her door just waiting to be explored. He tries to help her move on from her guilt and when the time comes for him to leave, will she be able to let him to? To top it off, it seems as though she has another secret to live it; but will it cause Edward to come closer or get farther away from her?

Reason For Living is an amazing story that will make your heart melt! The best thing about it is that it's very well thought out with regards to the plot. Furthermore, the author has created in-depth characters: two people who have gone through some terrible and traumatic events in their respective lives yet still manage to teach each other to live again. I promise that you will fall in love with insatiable Tattward, insightful Writerella, and adorable Leo! In this regard, let me ask all of you right now to have faith in the author and her story. Things might seem like a huge puzzle in the beginning, but all the mysteries will definitely be revealed overtime! I can't praise this fanfiction enough, and unfortunately talking more about its plot will take away too much, but what I can do is encourage you all to go on and jump on this story immediately! Hats off to Robzbeanie for this wonderful piece of fiction! Oh, and did I mention that this fanfiction will have you drooling over its mind-blowing lemons? Let's admit it, unstoppable Edward is something we would die for! This story is a MUST read and is definitely one that should not be missed in any case. So what are you waiting for ;) ?

Reason For Living consists of 42 chapters and a total of 159,962 words. The story is rated M for language and insatiable lemons with Edward.
