After graduating with a college degree in journalism, Bella spends two years travel writing for various tourism blogs. Her growing up in Forks, Washington made her appreciate and enjoy the nature already at a young age. As a child she spent countless hours in the outdoors with her dad and just now, the young woman discovered her love for rock climbing.
After an humiliating break-up, Bella decides to leave her hometown and move to Seattle. There, she takes on a job as an outdoor web writer for The Seattle Times and quickly befriends with the newspaper's fashion editor, Alice. Her excitement could not be bigger when she hears that there is a rock gym not too far away. Bella rushes to Rock Face only to find Alice, her boyfriend Jasper as well as her brother Emmett and Rose, the owners. From time to time she runs into their cousin Edward, a cocky and arrogant young man, whom Bella dubs the "bulldozer".

For her next assignment, Bella invites her four new friends to a weekend climbing trip. Unexpectedly, Alice brings Edward along and the group of six drives off enjoying exhilerating climbs, good food and a fun games of Truth or Dare. Soon, Bella learns that Edward's coldness is due to a horrible event in his past for which he blames himself heavily. In fact, it has weight him down so much that he cannot climb anymore. On the last day of their trip, the friends decide to head home early as the weather is far too bad for climbing. Unfortunately though, the roads are soon completely washed over, making it impossible for them to get back home. Stuck with each other in an empty cabin for at least a couple of days, Edward and Bella realize that they need to move on from their pasts and learn to trust others again if they want to lead a happy life. Will Bella get Edward to climb again? And can Bella forget the humiliation of her previous relationship and put her heart on the table for Edward?

Yosemite Decimal is such a fun story! In all the time I've been reading Twilight fanfiction I've never come across a story like this before - I mean, have you ever read a fanfic where a lemon takes place on a rock climbing wall? Me neither. In a captivating and deep way, the author combines the technical side of rock climbing (you'll learn many climbing terms) with the personal stories of our favorite characters. Except for one brief moment of angst, Yosemite Decimal will have you laughing, fanning yourself, or going "Ahhh". Trust me, you won't regret reading it!

Yosemite Decimal consists of 129,560 words and 23 chapters. The story is rated M for language and lemons on a rock climbing wall.
