Bella’s dad’s job has just moved them from the little cold town of Forks, to the sunny sands of Santa Cruz, CA. Enrolled to start at UC Santa Cruz in the fall, Bella has her whole summer ahead of her to do whatever she wants. But being the new one in a town filled with tourists, regulars, and endless possibilities, Bella has no idea what the heck she wants to do. Until she finds CC Surf and Skate. Hired on the spot, Bella accepts graciously - but there’s a catch. The shop’s owner, Edward Cullen, wants to teach her how to surf.

Edward is tall, older, and drop-dead-gorgeous - he also has a four-year-old son and a clingy ex. But no matter, with each crack of dawn surf lesson, Bella and Edward grow closer. She hides her crush, thinking someone like Edward would never go for a girl like her. Edward’s younger brother, Jasper, would agree. Suddenly lines are crossed and to hell with the consequences, they’ll fight hard to make it work. Well, that’s the plan… until reality comes crashing down on them like a 6-foot tidal wave.
Going Under is one of my favorites. I know I say this a lot, but I can’t help but share these treasures with you guys! I’ve read this about four times so far and each time I still find myself getting sucked in until the late hours of the night. Bella’s naïve innocence and Edward’s intense loyalty suck the reader in and keep you glued to the story. The descriptions are awesome (especially the surfing!), the writing is very well done, and keeps a consistent pace and tone plot wise. Not to mention, “L” is adorrrrable!
Going Under consists of 46 chapters and 78,358 words. This story is rated M for language and tastefully written lemons.

Thanks so much for the rec! I have been looking for something to read to take my mind of all the RL drama, and I need it to be complete - this seems like the perfect Memorial Day weekend choice! New to you blog, but looking forward to seeing what else you may recommend!
