Edward and Bella are both thoroughly frustrated. For months they went through bad date after bad date until one night they meet each other at a bar. For hours conversation flows easily and so do the drinks. Bella and Edward end up spending a heated night together and both know that this was more than just a one-night-stand.

Nevertheless, Bella leaves Edward's apartment before he wakes up. After just having gone through a disastrous relationship, she is unwilling to already commit herself to another man - no matter how smart, handsome, funny, loving, or charming he is. But Edward's persistent and patient. He begins a friendship with Bella and tries to make her understand that she was just made for him - will he be successful?

Follow Through is nicely written. The story is almost angst-free and very entertaining (mainly because of the lovely bickering between Bella and Edward). The only thing that takes some getting used to (but really only SOME) is Emmett being portrayed as the muscle (you know, not the brightest crayon in the box) and Carlisle and Esme being somewhat snobbish (but nice!). But hey, you have an Edward who is desperately fighting for his girl, so who cares? ; )

Follow Through consists of 44 chapters and a total of 148,700 words. The story is rated M and thus only suitable for teens over the age of 16!
