Bella Swan thought her day couldn't get worse. Just one day after she moves into a new apartment with her best friend Angela, the latter tells her that she decided to live with her boyfriend Ben. To top it off Angela immediately presents her subleaser - Edward Cullen.

To say that Bella is shocked would probably be an understatement. She and Edward once were in a loving relationship before some unfortunate incident broke them apart. Ever since then the two are on less than good speaking terms. And now, Bella is forced to live with her ex-boyfriend! It doesn't take long for her to realize that she still harbors a lot of feelings for Edward.

The Roommate is a joy to read. The witty characters are always good for a joke or two and keep the story relatively angst-free. Slowly, snippets of Bella's and Edward's past are revealed. Because you desperately want to know the reason why the two broke up, you are hardly able to put the story away.

The Roommate consists of 28 chapters and a total of 80,364 words. The story is rated M for mature content.
