"Comp Sem 101" by bornonhalloween

Bella Swan and Edward Cullen couldn't be more different from each other. While 18-year-old Edward is of athletic stature, has grown up with a picture-perfect family, and doesn't have any difficulties in socializing, Bella is a little overweight, shy, and still hasn't gotten over her mother abandoning her when she was five. The two meet in a freshman writing seminar and have to work with each other on their weekly assignments.

Soon, Bella and Edward become good friends and really like each other's company. Bella helps Edward, who suffers from dyslexia, with his homework and Edward supports Bella's wish to lose some weight. They get to know each other better and better and have to realize that maybe this thing between them is even more than pure friendship.

This story is highly recommendable! Why? Well, first of all, the dialogue is very well written. The characters have depths and the plot includes funny, sad, and shocking moments. The writing assignments that Bella and Edward have to work on are incredibly interesting and creative (as are the results they come up with). Some of the assignments have even been proposed by readers of the very talented bornonhalloween! Read it, it's amazing!

Comp Sem 101 consists of 23 chapters and a total of 224,210 words. The story is rated M for mature content.
