Three months ago, a traumatic incident changed Bella's life forever. She became an outcast - hated by everyone, loved by no one. Wanting the torment to end, Bella hopes for nothing more than the end of her miserable life and when she gets hit by a shiny Volvo, she almost gets her wish fulfilled. Seriously injured, the young girl is brought to the hospital, where the man who hit her, turns out to be the only thing that keeps her breathing...
This fanfic is simply one of my favorites. It contains the douchiest Edward ever written: you'll want to punch him in the freaking face, yet grow to love him nontheless. At least I did.
Hit By Destiny is far from being one of the happy/easy-going fanfics that I usually read as it contains serious angst, dark themes and violence. And on top of that, it is one of the craziest fics I've come across. Let's just say it has Bella's bat-shit crazy mother, Renee, drinking her blood. A-huh...Yeah, I cringed, too when I read that. But, don't worry - it's an all human story, believe it or not. ;) Despite all that has happenend, it does have a happy ending which I'm totally grateful for.
Hit By Destiny consists of 59 chapters and a total of 463,685 words. The story is rated MA for, language, dark themes & violence.

So far, reading this story has been such an emotional experience. I swear, I can't get through an entire chapter without shedding a few tears. Most have been either out of pain and sadness for Bella's situation and the rest have been out of complete anger towards Edward. As of right now, even though he is also in pain, I've never loathed someone so much. I'm only on chapter 19 and I can already say it's one of my favorites, in a weird way. Thank you very much for recommending it. Everyone should get a chance to read this genius and well written story!
