Bella Swan is not like any of the other girls in town. Unhappy with her life, she has completely given up on herself; something that is mostly due to her more than traumatic past. Her father's constant negligence and abusive behavior, have caused Bella to consider herself to be a boring and, more importantly, useless person who no one would want anything to do with. Because of her low self esteem and the bad childhood she had to endure, Bella has also developed an eating disorder before the age of ten. When she was young, she used to be able to swallow down at least some food, but now all she can do is pretend to eat small bites before immediately excusing herself and throw up the little food she managed to get down. Even though Bella does not care about being pretty, she knows that her disorder is something that sets her back from all the other girls in town. That said, Bella is unable to control herself and runs to the bathroom whenever she's eaten...

Edward Cullen is just as broken as Bella, if not more. With his horrid past constantly at the back of his mind, Edward's only way to cope is to cook. In fact, he has become so good over the years that he aspires to become a professional chef. Through cooking, Edward is able to focus on a single task and forget the terrible events his life has consisted of so far. All he wants to do is escape his demons and be normal, just for a few moments. When Bella walks into High School as the new girl in town, he can't help but feel attracted to the thin, yet beautiful brunette. But with his past always surrounding him, he refuses to get to know her too much in fear of losing her. Edward's sister Alice though, is able to instantly connect with Bella and her ability to read tarot cards only adds to her intuition that the two of them - Edward and Bella - are meant for each other. But how long will it be before the two of them have to spill their dark secrets to each other? And how will they be able to fix each other up, especially when Bella can't eat and only thing Edward is good at is cooking?

camoozle has written is beautiful story and I highly recommend this to all you Twilight fanfic readers out there! This fanfiction evoked many emotions within me when I was reading it and my heart went out to both the characters and their tragic pasts. The story definitely contains two broken people who are extremely upset with their lives and themselves. Yet despite all the angst, I think that the depth that the characters Edward and Bella were given by the author deserves an applause. It is because of their complicated personalities that readers will feel drawn to the story from the very first word. Furthermore, the story fluctuates between both Edward's and Bella's perspectives, so it is easy to follow through what is going on between each of their lives. I will say that the story is not an easy read, it will arise a lot emotions within you, but that only increases your love for the story. You will not be disappointed in camoozle's writing style as well since there are close to no grammatical errors and the flow of the events that occur are very understandable. Her very vivid descriptions of the delicious dishes Edward makes are absolutely mouthwatering! This fanfiction has received a lot of popularity, but I think there are quite a number of people who still havn't read it and I hope this rec serves as a shout out for you all to go ahead and begin reading the story now! I promise you won't be disappointed - in fact, you will find yourself ranking this story in your top ten lists of great stories! A MUST read!!!
