"You and Me" by Thimbles

For twelve years Bella and Alice have been best friends. They've shared secrets and clothes, had slumber parties and made promises. Until one night trust is broken in the worst way and a once unbreakable friendship shatters. Now Bella has to face not only a painful betrayal, but deep heartbreak. Followed by the realization that someone she thought she could count on is now a complete stranger.

Forced to deal with all of this on her own, Bella finds strength in the most unlikely of places. Edward Cullen, a boy she's always known as the crush of her ex-best friend but soon begins to see in an entirely different light. And Edward? Well, he's been waiting for a chance like this and he's not going to let it go to waste.

The POV goes back and forth between Bella and Edward--HOWEVER--this fic is written in the 2nd person perspective. Sounds weird, but the author manages to make it work. I really enjoyed this fic, but then again... it's Thimbles.  'Nuff said. The fic is 4 really long chapters they feel more like you're on an incredible journey through Edward and Bella's lives. Seriously, this fic is written in such a way that you feel what the character feels, you identify with the character in a more intimate way and I base that solely on the fact that Thimbles is a hell of a writer. I've never been a big Alice fan, so this fic was on par with me. If you are a big Alice fan, heed this warning: she's a real piece of work in this. Edward is so super awesome and supportive of Bella, it makes you swoon. I love how Bella gets to know the real him and finds that everything she thought she knew about him (or anyone!) is completely off. They're relationship is sweet, deep, and sizzling. 

You and Me consists of 4 chapters and 30,711 words. This fic is rated MA for lemons and language.
