"The Princess and the E" by CLWN

Posted by Anonymous

When Bella Swan made the decision to move to her father Charlie to the small town of Forks, Washington, all she wanted was to get away from her nerve-wrecking mother and a too touchy-feely stepdad. Yet now that she was there, she couldn't help but feel bored out of her mind. In order to leave that place as quickly as possible, Bella puts all her energy into studying and tries to let nothing get in the way with her high school graduation. So because the 17-year-old is always busy putting her nose into books, she hardly interacts with her fellow class mates. Somehow, however, Mike Newton has made it into her life - supposedly the sweetest guy of the school, something that Bella really can't understand. So even though she doesn't like him at all, being with him has its advantages, and as long as there is no kissing and fondling, Mike was somewhat bearable. Moreover, without him, Bella would have never run into Edward Cullen at the diner. A moment that changes her life forever because when she looks him in the eyes, she knows right away, that all she wants is being with him. No matter what that actually means...

Because Edward Cullen is no ordinary school boy. With his 18 years of age, he did not only graduate a year early but is also third in command of the biggest mafia family of the U.S. west coast. The Cullen clan has pretty much every casino, hotel, and club under its control and Edward grew up with murder, blackmailing, and money. Lot's of money! Together with his parents Carlisle and Esme, his sister Alice and her boyfriend Jasper and his cousin Emmett and his fiancé Rose, he lives in a luxurious house in the outskirts of Forks - with no one having an idea who they really are. Edward meets Bella for the first time when he sees Mike Newton at the diner to get the money back he owes him. Totally enchanted by Bella, or "Princess" as he always (!) calls her, he asks her to come with him and the gang to pay some members of the Cullens' biggest enemy, the Volturis, a visit. Before she knows it, Bella finds herself in the middle of guns, lot's of blood, and an aweful amount of adrenaline. Though she should be despised by Edward's actions and fear him to no end, she sees right away, that, inside, "E" is actually a nice guy. As is his family. Too bad she forgot to mention to her new friends that she is the Police Chief's daughter...

Let me tell you right away that this story has it's flaws. You'll find lot's of typos and some grammatical mistakes in it. The plot is, at some points, a bit rushed so that weeks sometimes pass within only a few paragraphs. However, the characters described are all very lovable and funny! Even though Rose and Edward would die for each other, they can't live a single moment without insulting one another. In general, the Cullen clan likes to use very colorful language, something Bella needs some time getting used to. Expect a lot of "fucks" and "shits" but keep in mind that they don't really mean to hurt each other! With that said, it's completely normal for the guys to pull out there guns and threaten to kill each other if they are in an argument. The way they all handle the everyday business of murder, drug dealing, and the police breathing down their necks, is often hilarious and you can't help but shake your head in disbelief. The story, which is completey written from Bella's POV, took CLWN a long time to complete. Admittedly, the last chapters are a bit rushed and you won't get to the prologue until the very end, but all in all, The Princess and the E is very entertaining! There's close to no angst (!) but lot's of blood and death. Enjoy!

The Princess and the E consists of 31 chapters and a total of 214,813 words. The story is rated MA for lemons, violence, and foul language.
