"Head over Feet" by iambeagle

Bella just broke up with her boyfriend Peter, a more than weird guy, who dumped her for not wearing enough tweed (I kid you not). Drowning her sorrow (or her laughter) in alcohol, Bella spends the evening with her closest friends: Emmett, Rosalie, and Edward. The latter has been in Bella's life for the last four years and knows her better than anyone else. In her drunk stupor, Bella puts on her prom dress and demands that Edward ravishes her (again, I kid you not) - pretending he would have taken her to prom and should now be getting more than a goodbye kiss...

Yet instead of taking advantage of Bella's inebriated state, Edward makes sure to thoroughly tuck her into bed and even prepares a good breakfast the next morning. But boy, that wasn't an easy decision to make! The young man has been pining over his neighbor (Bella shares an apartment with Rose, two floors below Edward) for as long as he knows her. He is very well aware that she is hiding her feelings for him, too afraid to get lost in his love. But Edward has waited long enough and now that Bella was dumped by Tweed-guy, he is determined to maker her his!

iambeagle's fanfiction Head over Feel is completely written from Bella's POV. The girl has an unusual sense of humor but has definitely found her match in Edward. The two are constantly bantering and bickering and you will probably shed more than one tear from laughing so hard. The story is also completely angst-free but that doesn't mean that the two are going at it like rabbits, no. It takes some time for Bella to not only trust Edward's intense feelings for her but also her own feelings towards him. Last but not least, I'd like to say that the story is almost perfect. Almost, because Head over Feet doesn't have a "real" ending (I recommend treating chapter 16 as the final one - everything after that serves no real purpose). Too bad...

Head over Feet consists of 18 chapters and 38,374 words. The story is rated M for lemons and language.
