"Swan Lake" by SydneyAlice

"You have reached your destination." Yeah, well he didn't. When Edward Cullen looks out of his car window he doesn't see his parents' house in Port Angeles. Instead he parked right in front of a small but cozy looking bed and breakfast, right near a beautiful lake. As it gets darker by the minute and snow begins to fall, Edward decides to spend the night at the inn.
Inside, he is greeted by mahagony hair and chocolate brown eyes. "Swan Lake's" owner Bella Swan welcomes him warmly and makes sure that he has everything he needs. The next morning Edward can hardly see his car under the thick blanket of snow that surrounds it. He knows that he won't make it anywhere until the streets are cleared and passable again and that makes him surprisingly happy. It even gets better when Bella tells him that he will be her only guest for the next couple of days...
Swan Lake is another one of SydneyAlice's perfect stories. The writing is impeccable and the plot interesting. Both Edward and Bella have a lot of baggage to carry (which doesn't change the fact that the story is almost angst-free) and seem to be able to help each other heal. It's an incredibly sweet short story and will leave you with a happy sigh.
Swan Lake consists of 16 chapters and a total of 18,843 words. The story is rated T and thus suitable for teens who are at least 13 of age.
