Though Edward and his siblings Alice and Emmett grew up with money and opportunities, their parents Carlisle and Esme make sure that they give back from time to time. So every year around christmas, Edward finds himself cooking and serving hot meals for homeless people - and this year a special surprise awaits him.

Twenty-year-old Bella Swan lost her parents at an early age and lived in foster homes and group houses until she turned 18 and moved in with her boyfriend. However, the relationship soon becomes living hell and Bella decides to run away. Ever since, the street is her home and each day is a fight for survival. Needless to say, when Bella and her friend Ruby hear about the charity event at the shelter the two don't think twice. Patiently, they wait in line for their lunch and suddenly Bella's world changes when her deep brown eyes meet emerald green ones...
